I have stated this location multiple times and have never been disappointed. The staff are friendly and polite. The rooms look... recently updated, smell fresh, and the beds are comfortable. The pool and hot tub area are spacious with a water slide for thekids and cool LED accent lighting. There is also coin operated laundry, and exercise room, the Montana's restaurant withexcellent food and shuttle service to the airport which is quite handy. Stayed in a room with a king sized bed. The room was nice and large. Very sturdy suitcase bench. Beds were triple sheeted, which... I love. Unfortunately, they use a flat sheet as the bottom sheet (instead of a fitted sheet), which is difficult for me as Imove a lot in my sleep and ended up unmaking the bed every night. The fridge in the room was great, both to keep my partner'sinsulin and some pop cold. Shower was very large. Pool and hot tub are fantastic! Complimentary breakfast had lots of proteinoptions. Beautiful venue, excellent staff, I was at the hotel to photograph a wedding. The hotel is clean, modern, lovely, rooms are... large and very nice. The ballrooms are fantastic, spacious and attractive. The meal was incredible, the chef top notch. Highly recommend as a wedding venue. Highly recommend period. Read more
We had our wedding here and the service, attention to detail and care was above and beyond. The food was AMAZING and everyone... was raving. Debbie the events manager and the catering manager both were on top of everything and I didn't have to worry aboutall the little and big things you don't think about until they are upon you. We viewed many hotels in Edmonton and I am beyondthankful we went with Debbie and her team. Our guests spent the night and everyone was happy and breakfast was awesome! Read more
I?ll happily rebook at this or any Coast hotel! The price was incredibly reasonable. the waterside made my daughters day! Mary,... who was working the reception desk, was very helpful and kind. Montanas made all the room service room fresh to order (butforgot the cutlery) it wasn?t loud at all. Breakfast was delicious and you could see the employees working to make sure everyonehas what they wanted. The shuttle to the hotel was prompt. The o my real cons were some minor aesthetic damage (nothing to writehome about), the odd bug and how brightly the hallway lights crept under and around the door. Read more
Liked · Staff: Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Coffee at the breakfast bar: Was surprisingly good and hot. Bathroom:... Clean but weird shower set up. Disliked · Room: Smelled like it used to be a smokers room way back in the day that they justcouldn't remove the smell. Room smelled musty/borderline moldy (very stale). The shower did not have a sliding door, just halfglass panel which allowed water to splash a bit on the bathroom floor. Windows were very grubby (hard to see outside) room feltdark and dingy. Other occupants: lots of kids shrieking like hellions with no parental control in the hallways early morning(not the hotel's fault) but this is the kind of clientele that is drawn to this place.) Breakfast bar: The buffet pancakestasted like sadness. The thin ham slices were floating in a slurry of liquid and the eggs (scrambled) looked very sloppy/wet. Assoon as I was awakened by screaming kids (checked in at 2 a.m. due to flight delays) I could not get up and out of there fastenough. Read more
We checked into a room with an clogged toilet.¹ We called the front desk and their idea of fixing the problem Was leaving a... plunger at the door for us to fix it ourselves.² When we left for work For the day we came back in our room was not attendedto.³ There were no towels for us to shower. ? Our food took over an hour and our order was incomplete and had To go downto the restaurant and get the rest of our order in person for room service.? On the plus side there is a good gym As wellas a good buffet breakfast in the morning. The pool and hot tub is good however the hot tub has poor jets. Read more
I wasn't a huge fan of the sliding bathroom door as for privacy. As well as they could definitely add more towels considering... the facility has a pool. No robes were available in our room, which would have been a nice touch. But the staff was pleasant andthe room was clean. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. Read more
