Beautiful patio by the lake. Wait staff was excellent. I ordered the nachos, and they were the worst I've had. "Hamburger was... dry and burnt. All chips. The pico was maybe a tablespoon tops, no sour cream, and the queso cheese tasted like mayo withseasoning. Charging $17 for nachos, I was very disappointed. Really nice place. Good wait staff. I ordered the walleye wild rice cakes with remoulade sauce. They were good. But it was... mainly breading unfortunately. Very little fish and very little wild rice. But they still tasted good and the display andpresentation was very nice. Read more
Not up to par on this visit. Dock77 has a great atmosphere on Gull Lake. It has the best patio seating of any restaurant on... the lake. I have eaten here many times and the food is hit and miss. Most of the time the food is above average and servicegood. This time the service was great but the food/drink was poor. Ordered a vodka gimlet and i have no idea what i got but isent it back. Our group ordered nachos and they had very little cheese and lots of sour cream but not much else. Finally ourburger was almost raw. See pictures attached. My wife and mother in law raved about the chicken kabobs. Unfortunately I had the prime rib and it was bland. The view and... atmosphere is fantastic and the service was OK. When we ordered we were told there would be 4 chicken kabobs, when it was servedthere were only 2? I may go back, but I definately won't get the prime rib again. Read more
Let me start off by saying I travel the country for work. I stay at multiple hotels every month and found this place by... accident. The price was around 200$ for the night and worth every penny. The staff was on point and genuinely friendly. Lovedthe host/waiter was super kind and checked on us frequently The restaraunt put out hot and quick food that was very good. Thebar tender giving my and my wife one of the best drinks we have tasted in the United States. (I usually buy 2 or 3 drinks ateach bar in hotels I stay at, it's usually their special and something easy just for a test) Finally the rooms. Beyond anyexpectation to be honest. Ask for top floor! The high ceilings, the fire place, and the decor was just amazing. Every feel ofbeing lake side along with the space that makes you feel like you are in a home and not a hotel. Couldn't ask for more. The food is pretty good for a resort. However we were assaulted by flies the entire time. I’m sure this isn’t a constant... issue, but it definitely detracted from what could have been a 5-star experience. Love the Dock 77, immaculate vibes - friendly,attentive, well-organized staff. Cute cocktails as well - the Old Fashioned came with a real large ice cube! It’s just theflies for me. Also, look how big the half rack of ribs is! Enormous. Read more
Came here for the first time this past summer for dinner on the patio with my wife and 2 kids. We loved the setting, some of the... best views on Gull Lake. They had live music playing while we ate. Such a fun spot! Read more
