Overall the place has great atmosphere and a nice place to go to dinner. But for the love of God, do not get the chicken pot... "pie" for $19 that is a size of a kids apple sauce bowl. I mean seriously who charges that much for a pot "pie"? That is alsonot a pot pie but more of a chicken stew with a biscuit top, I mean come on..... Also didn't come with any sides. None. Was expecting a lot from it from all the good reviews but did not have a good time. Food took about 40 min to come out and was... not good. Seafood quesadilla was very hyped up by our waiter but we?re not fulfilled. Chicken sandwich was decent. Appetizerswere very small for the price. Read more
Decent food. I ate there twice. I though the burger was pretty unspectacular for a resort that sells spectacular in its... marketing. Service was pretty good. Not perfect, but during these pandemic times, I expect a little less than perfection. It hasbeen a tough year for restaurants, and they continue to run on less than all four cylinders. Read more
Maddy is such a treat! She's a bartender/server at the Pub. She makes a mean, spicy Bloody Mary (spicy upon request). It was... delicious! Complete transparency, the Bloody was so good we came two days in a row while on vacation. Maddy even remembered ourodd beer chaser choices from the previous day. She's a breath of fresh air. Beautiful resort, closet to town but you wouldn't know it. Food was excellent and the loon lodge was a blast!
Hidden away in the basement. This bar on the Grand View Lodge campus is unique. It has the only bar menu that differs from the... other bars on the campus. A little hard to find. Great service. Great food. Full bar with the barkeep making greatcocktails. Good beer selection on tap. Read more
Had a great time here out on their brand new deck-- the view is stunning and the renovations were well done. Had lunch with... coworkers and our server Quinn was very sweet and attentive. Service was prompt and timed well-- we got our food soon after ourappetizers were finished. Food was delicious, especially the Paul Bunyan burger and chicken mushroom sandwich. I left animportant card on the table when we left, and Quinn saved it and ran it out to me in the parking lot. So nice! Would be happy tocome back any time. Read more
