We sat outside on the patio and no one acknowledged us for about 10 minutes. Not even a "we'll be right with you." It was... extremely offputting and we almost left. But, I'm glad we stayed! Once we received service, everything else was fantastic. Thefood is so fresh and I loved the live jazz music. Read more

My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and wanted a really special dinner. We had never been to Farrow, but had heard... good things and wanted to give it a try. We are a chef's nightmare (or challenge) since my husband is vegan, and I am glutenfree. We wanted to do the tasting menu with wine pairings and called a few days before to see if this was something they coulddo. They assured us that, with the notice we were giving them, they could indeed do a dinner for us. And what a dinner it was!Everything was so fresh, flavorful and colorful. My husband was enchanted by the inventiveness of his 6 courses (rack of cornanyone?) and I loved my gluten free courses that included veggies, fish and meats. The servers were wonderful, the wines pairedbeautifully and we had a great time! We highly recommend. Read more

Farow is always fabulous! I am finally writing a review after having their Buckner Ranch Chorizo dish this evening. Chorizo... Patties with a Jalapeño Spoon Bread, fresh Corn Salad and Chile Sauce. I may go back tomorrow night and have it again.. :) Wealso had the Chocolate, Peanut and Caramel dessert. It was also a big hit - basically a very light, fluffy peanut butter cupwith caramel sauce and peanut sorbet. Sorry, we ate it before I captured a photo. Read more

Absolutely fantastic farm-to-table restaurant. All food is sourced within a ten mile radius of their Niwot location. We arrived... intentionally prior to our reservation so that we could enjoy happy hour in the bar. The area is comfortable and eclectic withcouches, in addition to the bar. Their handcrafted cocktails were spectacular and very unique. Happy hour ending at 5:30 gave us$2 off of each one, which was very nice given they have a high, but understandable price tag. My hand-cut pasta entree wasdelicious. My husband had the house burger and said it was delicious. The fries were wedges that were perfectly cooked andseasoned and served at the perfect temperature. Our server was very attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu, which canchange often depending on what the chef is able to be sourced. The manager was also very attentive and helpful, assisting thebartender with the cocktails. We will definitely be back and look forward to trying other farm-to-table menu items. We'll done,Farow! Side note: A 22% gratuity is automatically added to the check, and is clearly marked on the menu. This was absolutelyfine with us, as our server absolutely deserved it with her impeccable service. We stopped into Farow in Niwot this past week. What a treat! This was the most complete experience from beginning to finish we... have had in quite some time. Even the bread is out of this world! No olive oil needed. We shell out a lot of compliments, butit's rare to be wowed by every single dish that comes to the table. This stop makes our top 10 restaurants in Colorado, forsure! Kabocha Squash Carbonara: Lamb ragu, bacon lardons, parmesan hand-cut spaghetti House Smoked Ham: Red-eye beans, bluecorn biscuit House Focaccia Basket: Slices of our warm, seasonal focaccia Chocolate Cake: Chocolate peppermint ganache, peppermint cream, chocolate espresso sauce Buckner Ranch Steak: Rutabaga, potato gratin, red wine demi-glace (GF) SteakTartare: Dijonnaise, capers, lemon, crostini (DF) Buckner Ranch Sausage: Grilled luisa chicory, apple vinaigrette(GF/DF) Butterscotch Budino: Tahini caramel, whipped cream, sesame millet crumble (GF/V) Read more

Ate here last Saturday to celebrate the end of a long work season. It was a wonderful 3 hour experience with the chefs tasting... menu. Appreciated the seasonal and local ingredients. Great service. The house-made onion focaccia was delicious, too! We’llbe back. Read more

It’s very rare as a chef and restaurateur to have a dining experience that is all that you hoped for it to be, and virtually... nonexistent to have those hopes be exceeded, and that’s what happened with every bite at Farow! It’s not hard to findrestaurants in Northern Colorado serving farm-to-table menus, but it’s nearly impossible to sit at a table that’s less than5 miles from every ingredient on the plate; such is the experience at Farow. Lisa and Patrick have managed to balance eleganceand comfort in a way that makes you feel as if you’re dining at an old favorite that has just put out a beautiful new menu, even though it’s the first time you’ve walked through their doors. Yes, I’m a chef of 23 years and local restaurateur, but I’ve written this post as a diner that is very thankful to have a new “old favorite”! Read more
