If I could give less stars for the meal I would. The star is for the sushi. Our waiter was great. The chef was less than... enthusiastic. Might as well have been hibachi at Burger King. The food somehow came off the grill barely warm and not a bit ofsalt or pepper. $165 for 4 people. It wasn't worth $20. Read more

We just got done eating supper here. Great staff, a special thanks to there chef Victor (he was so very nice to us and our son)!... My husband and I went tonight for our wedding anniversary dinner as we mostly always do and tonight we had an exceptional... experience!! We got there for our 8:00 reservation and sat down to wait for our table. We were starving so around 8:25 weasked how much longer it would be. We were not upset at all as we could see they only had one cook and I believe one server. They got us a table and we were greeted by one of the best servers I have ever had!! I absolutely loved Stacy she waspersonable made drink recommendations and got our sushi order in ASAP. She was on the ball with soup, salad and whatever weneeded plus had great conversation. The one chef working this night was Chef Engel he was busy with a full table next to us andwas really making sure the kids enjoyed as well as the family. He is so at ease with what he does it looks flawless and heseems to really enjoy what he does. He immediately came over to us after Stacy made sure our meal was brought out and preppedand ready to go and my husband and I had such a blast with him and Stacy as well. I have worked in the restaurant industry forover 20 years and I just wanted to say how nice it is to see others in the same industry just shine at what they do. So oftenyou see people that are not happy or just stressed at being the only chef or only server on the floor I have been there donethat myself but when you do your job with the ease these 2 did tonight it had to be acknowledged and applauded. I have never written a review before, and sadly this time I feel like I must. The sushi, while quantity was good, quality was... horrible. I have never had salmon that looked so sickly and pale with absolutely no fat in it... Looked almost fake... I wouldhave asked for a manager but it seemed like no one really cared to check. I mentioned the salmon to one of the staff statingthat i would not eat this and was expecting someone to follow up, which never happened. Got there when they opened and was told the fryer wasn't ready so waited a bit for our appetizer. Food came out right after the... appetizers. Service and food were good. Had egg rolls, gyoza, and hibachi at a regular table. Was disappointed that they don'thave the soup available at lunch time. Will be back again to try the soup. Read more
