Definitely recommend. The SO and I typically don't go during peak times but we've been on several Friday and Saturday evenings... before 6pm or after 8pm and have never had to wait. Their bar seating is comfortable with good table service as well. I usuallyget the deluxe chicken enchiladas but I really like the Elvis Presley Memorial plate as well. SO gets a chimichanga usually,which I'd recommend as well. Read more
We had a great birthday dinner at Chuy?s! The chips are amazing! I absolutely loved my frozen Margarita! And the food was okay!... We had asked for no cilantro on the chimichanga but it still had it on there. Their quesadillas are pretty plain (wish they hada not appetizer version)! Our service was great though! Unfortunately, this was a very bad visit. From not telling us that the drinks we ordered for the kids were the only drinks not... included in the kids' meals (so we had a separate charge) to food that was absolutely disgusting to telling us that a largeparty had taken over the outside (yet there was no one there the whole) so we couldn't sit outside. Manager was kind enough totake off the extra charges and bad food, but no real apology. He just told us the food was a best seller and that we should knowthat those drinks aren't included in the kids meals (the kids asked for root beer). 75 degrees and had to sit inside becausethey were too lazy to take food outside. I?m not sold after my 2nd visit. The food is good, but beyond that I am not sure why people swear by this place. The Guacamole... was excellent, queso+beef was excellent, salsa perfect, spicy ranch sauce good, and the chips awesome. Now to the course, steakburrito was just okay. I was pleasantly surprised with appetizers but the contents in my burrito was lack luster. When I reached this location the first thing I noticed is that this place looks big and have plenty of parking space. There are... some things I noticed which I would like to point out early In the review first the main spot light at front door wasflickering so bad kind of gave me a headache as when I reached there was 20 mins waiting and the reception area was full so Ichoose to wait outside, second I ordered soup for appetizers and the soup bowl came in hot plate and it had a handle and thehandle in the end was broken, it's a small thing but for me presentation matters when I choose to go in a restaurant. The chipand salsa was ok and not amazing I had tried better dips at pure authentic Mexican restaurants before. We ordered housemargaritas and we didn't like it much, they were very bland also the over all food was not there up to the mark so I think chefneeds to redo something in the recipes to make them awesome. The server was very nice and helpful so full marks to her. I was convinced that it would be an excellent place to eat, but it was not the best experience. Unfortunately the food arrived... very cold and the beans were very hard and the rice a very strange flavor. I thought the cheese was going to be a supercomplete starter and the cheese was very thin to the point that it was a soup instead of cheese. I plan to go a second chanceto see if I have more luck and can enjoy a truly Mexican meal. I wish you don't have a bad experience like mine and you canenjoy this site. the attention was amazing! Excellent server and great fresh food. I got the beef burrito with deluxe sauce...SOOOOOO good. Nice outdoor patio too for... dining outdoors. Was a challenge maneuvering my rollator through dining area when people were seated but i kindly said excuse meand they scooted up for me. I do wish all restaurants had either automatic doors or push button ones. Read more
