Energetic, vibrant atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor seating. Great selection of margaritas. We enjoyed the Blanco queso and the... smoked cheddar queso. My husband had the nachos which were huge and loaded with toppings. I was appreciative of the skinnymargarita and being able to create a bowl with a kale base. I added steak and it was very tender and flavorful. Food tastes veryfresh. Wait staff is very friendly and attentive. Manager is constantly circulating through the restaurant and checking oneveryone. My sister called this a rich person?s Taco Bell. Quality about the same but much more variety. Tried it for the first time this... weekend. Nice variety on the menu. Tacos a little bigger than expected. Yummy flavors but nothing mind blowing. Stuff isprobably made off site and shipped here. Ordered the dirty queso and chips. Chips are probably lowest food cost and they werestingy with them and half were broken little pieces. Service was friendly and decent. Fun and decorative spot. Worth trying atleast once. Read more
Such a great place to eat!! Their queso is out of this world. Lucy?s fire is my new favorite! Loved the atmosphere and can?t say... enough great things about Hannah! Went for a nice Monday lunch to try this place out. The house margaritas are $6 all day and frozen are $7...but I couldn't... decide on a flavor, so I got the flight for $16. My choices: mango, muddled jalapeño, and blood orange. All were tasty and thejalapeño delivers on the heat. On the menu, they do have things marked with a little flame symbol that are consideredspicy...listen to them. Lol The Bacon Refried Beans were definitely zippy! The rice was bland and dry and the tacos were fine.We got two each and it was plenty after our Trio of Dips(half order $14). My biggest complaint was that after all the coldtoppings and sauces they put on, the tacos come out almost cold. But, flavors were good and protein cooked properly. First time we had Condado Tacos, we were really impressed by the size and flavor of their tacos. We ordered 12 tacos that came... neatly packaged in 3 boxes. There was plenty of meat and toppings, and it was more food than our group expected. We ordered takeout again the following week, but with 8 tacos in 2 boxes. Still excellent and very filling. A few weeks later, we ordered 12again, but they were in 2 boxes this time and we noticed they were a bit smaller in side. Two of them were comparable in size toa Taco Bell taco. Ordered again tonight and perhaps the first two times were a fluke, but the size has definitely been reduced.Also was shorted a taco, clearly marked on the bag and boxes. My advice is to go to Bakersfield downtown. They've never let medown and have some excellent options as well. UPDATE: I had contacted them about the missing taco and they told me they wouldcredit it back to my credit card. It has been 3 weeks and no such refund was given. Reduced my review to 1 star. There has beenplenty of time for them to issue the refund. Read more
It's OK. I recommend building your own taco because the featured ones have so many toppings that it overpowers the taco. I tried... the Heater and Bad Habit. Both had steak, but I couldn't tell by taste. All I could taste was the cold toppings and sauces. Thetacos overall were cold. My companion had a kale bowl with roasted chicken. It was OK. I ate here for the first time in August and returned the next weekend with my husband and best friend to introduce them to the... awesomeness of Condado. They had the overhead doors open, sun was shining (bring shades if the brightness bothers you) and itwas a perfect atmosphere booster! My friend and I had Margarita flights that were very tasty! I had blackberry, blood orangeand prickly pear. The prickly pear was my favorite! We ordered starters : Beans, Rice, Queso & Street corn. Beans: Delicious!!!Spicy ???? but delicious. Like mouth on fire for a while spicy. We mixed in some of the rice and queso with the beans and it wasvery good! Rice: Not a ton of flavor on its own. Would maybe skip in the future. Queso: We ordered the plain Jane white queso,to get a feel for the goodness of the queso. Definitely want to try the other flavors because the plain Jane is onpoint! Street Corn: So I love authentic Mexican street corn and this is not that. It's their take on it, it's still good, butit wasn't my favorite. We all ordered tacos for the main event. The first time I went I had the nachos and those weredelicious! Highly recommend! The tacos are very delicious as well! They are larger in size and not skimpy with the contents. Iordered two tacos. One of them being Blue Dream and the other, The Heater. Both of them were delicious! My husband and my bestfriend also very much enjoyed their tacos. This place is different, the atmosphere is unique, and if you're looking forsomething in between authentic and Tex Mex, this is it! There's so much flavor, and the mix of flavors that are put together tocreate the combinations were very well thought out. Also, the service was very fast, our server was super friendly and veryattentive. 10 out of 10. Would recommend giving this place a try!
