I've always been a little scared of eating here. It looks super intimidating on the outside. Almost like it's too cool for me to... go here. But I stepped outside my comfort zone with my boyfriend and it was absolutely amazing! The atmosphere I side is veryhomey and the food tastes amazing. I highly recommend the pepper steak. Great local place for lunch!! They have a fantastic lunch menu. Plus their Miso soup is by far the best in town!

Kobayashi is my go-to place in Indianapolis for sushi. I have tried all the big name, talked about sushi restaurants in the... area, and Kobayashi is by far the best sushi in town. The food is always fresh and the rolls are large and an excellent value.The staff is extremely friendly. The own fretted is when we walked in, escorted us to our table and stayed with us to chat forseveral minutes, and came back by several times throughout our dining experience. Don't waste your time here.! This is a low class place. Not worth your time. Expensive and not quality at all. The owner is a... weird guy who doesn't respect his customers and has no interest in quality service! Drive thorough gives out cold food and theyserve old food from prior days I do believe.! Pleasantly surprised by how delicious this place was, wanted to try multiple and they suggested the Las Vegas and the Tiger... roll. Which they were both amazing! I was happy to find out that there was a drive up option for pick up. Their sushi was freshand fast, all things in for! I am excited to come back and try more of their menu. Read more
