Food is always excellent! We had a wonderful dinner with an out-of-town friend who was delighted to try some premium Italian... food. Our meals were excellent, like usual, and have no complaints about the food. I just wish that service could be a littlebit better here. Our waitress was friendly, but we had to ask repeatedly for bread (oil plates were poured for us over 20minutes before bread arrived). Waters were usually refilled, but we did have to prompt at times. The hostess told us it wouldtake a couple minutes and we stood there awkwardly for 10 minutes as she subsequently ignored us until our table was ready. Read more

My mom had her wedding in the alley next to Matteo’s while they accommodated everything we needed. I can’t stress enough how... perfectly they executed everything. We were blown away. The service was incredible. The food was by far the best food i’veever at at a wedding, and up there with the best pasta I have ever had in general. The space was beautiful and the staff helpedso much to put everything together. I would recommend this place over and over, whether you are looking to host an event orsimply just need a good meal. Thank you so much to everyone at Matteo’s for a perfect evening!! Read more

Made reservations for valentine's day and neither of us had been here before. Parking spots were scarce, but we arrived early... and didn't have too much of an issue parking. When you walk in you get an instant old Italian vibe and we knew it was going tobe good. We had an appetizer of fried ravioli and what looked like mozzarella sticks but were actually fried mashed potatosticks (there's a fancy Italian word for this and I apologize I don't remember what it was called). The star of the appetizerthough was the red sauce, it was delicious! For the main dish I had one of the specials which was pasta in a white sauce withcrab, shrimp, and lobster. A stellar dish, and I'm not ashamed to tell you that after I ate all the pasta I scraped the sauceinto my to-go container. Unfortunately we were too full for dessert, but we will be returning again, hopefully soon! I also haveto recommend our server, Laura. She was very attentive and made our experience that much better. To start, one of our glasses had a lipstick stain on the ring. Super small portions for the price. We orders two of the specials... which were lobster ravioli and need lasagna. I personally did not care for the lasagna… it was extremely sour and made itinedible for me. My husband didn’t mind it and he said the lobster ravioli was good. We enjoyed the sauces. Desserts weresmall and basic. That’s the overall word for this place… basic. I will say the server, Stacy, was very nice! But we won’tbe coming back. Read more

4th time visitor. Always impressive. This Filletto di blu gorgonzola is a 10 star kind of dish. 8 oz filet baked in a puff... pastry. Served with a side of asparagus, roasted pine nuts, and a side of gorgonzola cream sauce. The flavors are distinct andlively. Much better than I thought it would be and I thought it would be great. Friday night @7p - MAKE RESERVATIONS. We'reglad we did. Wait staff was efficient. The lemoncello drink was fabulous. Read more
