It was just ok, the ownership has changed and the place is definitely on the decline

This quaint little hotel, seven rooms, dinning room, small bar and lounge is immaculately clean. Unfortunately the restaurant is... closed apparently until 2023 staffing issues, the bar has on liquor license so no alcohol is served. You do get a continentalbreakfast which is not self-serve, the proprietor Jay serves you, which made me fell uncomfortable about asking for a secondcroissant or toast! Jay has several rules for his paying guest!! The hotel is for sale as is everything else in this town! Read more

Excellent hospitality. I arrived extremely late in a pouring cats and dogs (as well add a few frogs!) rainy night on my bike,... soaking like a dog. And my mood wasn't rainbow and sunshine at all. But they were still waiting for me (have warn them before ofmy late arrival). Their warm hospitality covered up immensely for the $#@¥&!?& weather. Very clean room and very comfortablebeds (very good resting and repleshing night sleep). Very, very friendly and helpful staff. Read more

Came in off the P'tit Train du Nord, and had a lovely night at the auberge. Very good bike storage. Hearty, affordable, and... delicious dinners of homemade bratwurst and schnitzel. We met the owner Heiko, who was incredibly entertaining and dedicated tothe auberge. Everything had lots of heart - would definitely return! Read more

Very special place! Hosts were so lovely and made us feel very welcome. We stayed during at this Auberge during a quiet time... at the end of May, and we felt fortunate that they served us a delicious 3 course meal in their restaurant after cycling fromMont-Laurier to Nominingue, as well as a breakfast in the morning before we left. The room was clean and the bed verycomfortable. Read more

A wonderful little restaurant with excellent food. This place prepared the best ceasar salad I've ever had and that set the tone... for every dish to follow. The wait staff was fantastic and the chef / owner also made a round of all the tables. I highlyrecommend the steak with mushrooms and the chicken stuffed with cream cheese, basil, and tomatoes. They also make a wonderfulsangria! Read more
