Love love love this place. Great pizza, great food, large portions. But they get busy and can sometimes be understaffed. So just... be patient and know that the god us worth the wait. Oh and the bread they bring to the table while waiting for your food is soeffing delicious you?ll want to ruin your meal just eating it. Read more

As always there is a wait, Sunday around 630ish, a bit longer then was told, and while we are waiting was told that there out of... prime rib. I'm sure glad I was not positive on ordering that cause I have had it before and it was amazing, so we continue towait because it had been already 30 min. Got sat after 40 min. I already put in the time and there food is so good. Found outthat there where staff that decided they didn't want to come in, ding ding ding, now we know about that wait, lol, I had thelaguini and clams and the wifey had spiggiti and meat balls, omg both so amazingly good, and the garlic bread is always tasty.The waitress was fantastic as well as the rest of the staff, will be back but next time we will call and will see what the waitis and or make reservations, bit all in all simply delicious and great atmosphere, you have to try this place out. A great choice for lunch this day. The salad was more than just lettuce, very crisp, no brown leafs at all and there was Olives,... tomato and a bit of purple cabbage added. The main courses were good portions and very tasty. Of course we'll return again. Read more
This Filippi's was pretty good. The flavor of the food is great. I was not a fan of the pastrami pizza, because ethe pastrami... was a little too stringy, more than usual for pastrami. The sauces for the noodles was great and the garlic bread was reallygood as well. Would definitely come back, just get the cheese pizza instead next time. The philly sandwich was amazing. Read more
This place is just ok. The pizza was very tasty. Our table ordered a chicken and spinach pizza. They were out of spinach. ... There is literally a grocery store about 2 blocks away down 6th Street so it blows my mind how a restaurant can be out ofanything unless it is some specialty item. Tons of cheese and great flavor on the pizza. We substituted ham for theunavailable spinach. We also had a shrimp pasta dish, the veal parmigiana, and a prime rib plate. The proteins were all donewell and tasty. The prime rib was tender, juicy, and medium rare just as ordered. Then came the side dish pasta and red meatsauce and the pasta with the veal. That's where this place falls flat on it's face. The sauce is horrific. Had a weird aftertaste and almost the flavor of raisins or prunes. No flavor of garlic or basil and not good at all. That's like going to aMexican restaurant and they have bad salsa. They also did not drain the pasta well so the bottom of the dish was just swimmingin water and the sauce would not even stick to the pasta. We may go back again for the pizza but that is about it. Service wasattentive and friendly but if the food isn't great it doesn't really matter especially when you spend nearly $200 for 4 people. Read more
