My wife Melanie and I were coming back through Norfolk from our anniversary weekend in Valentine, Ne. (Niobrara). We wanted to... stop back here because we loved the food( found out its different place). Anyways wife called and a nice lady answered sayingshe just got there..come on in.( Before place opened) Come to find out it was the owner and she was a little flustered...shewas covering for an employee that went to visit his lady Even though she was flustered...she did an amazing job..I andwife..more I...were her cheerleaders...lol. New taproom at the expanded brewery is very cool. Every seat has an awesome view of the brewing equipment.
I have loved the beer for a while now, but had never been to the taproom. It's small and intimate, with a lot of outdoor... seating. Definitely worth checking out! Read more
I worked food for 8 years in many restaurants, including being a manager. Food was really good but our server Jake acted like he... was high out of his mind. Another girl (very nice) took our drink order after we flagged her down since nobody came to our tablefor 15 minutes. She brought drinks and said "Kyle" would be taking care of us. He walked by the table several times withoutsaying anything. Had to flag the waiter down and go to the bar to get drinks. The staff couldn't figure out how to split ourticket 3 ways. Im.writing this at my table as we have been waiting for 30 minutes without a good explanation. Again, I workedthe food industry for a long time and I am now an engineer and have no idea what they can't figure out. Every point of salesoftware can split a ticket. I hope you get better service than we did. Food was good though. Read more
We had a wonderful dinner of chicken cashew salad (huge salad!) and burger dinner, paired with awesome beers from the brewery.... Service was excellent as well and the space is nice, clean and inviting. Read more
Our friends put their name on the list for New Years around 5:40, we got seated at 7:15. I get it, it was busy. The food was... good and so were the drinks! My biggest problem was our waitress. She spent so much time at the other tables, all the fountaindrinks got to our table shortly after we ordered, our drinks from the bar took about 20 minutes. We had a 3 year old at thetable and she didn't bring a spoon with the soup, the child was so hungry she was throwing a tantrum so we had to use a strawfor the soup so she didn't keep eating with a fork. My table mates had warm beers and my mixed drink was somewhat melted. Whensoup came I ordered another drink, my table mates then stopped a different waitress and got their beers ice cold immediately, Iwaited another 20-30 minutes for a single mixed drink! I waited so long that I got up to walk down to the bar myself, which iswhen the food came. Our waitress said she'd be right back with it but then was gone another 10 minutes only to come back withtea for other tables and my table mates. She finally came back with my drink, but my husband picked up a fry off his plate andthey were cold and floppy, and my sauce was starting to separate which implies it was sitting in the back for a while. Theflavors were perfect but it really wasn't worth an almost 2 hour wait. This was my first experience here and I'm not sure ifI'll be back by the way we were treated. Very clean place. Pretty good food, but nothing fancy. Beer is really good for Nebraska standards...better than any other... "Brewery" I've been to in NE, including Omaha and Lincoln. Read more
Review for Brewery (not bar/grill)- this was our first visit. Awesome space, good views of equipment and set up. Bartender... (Chris) was not friendly, did not ask any questions, did not offer any information. He offered no conversation or interest inour experience. He played games on his phone until we had to physically get his attention. When we cashed out he stood at theregister and watched my husband write his tip and signature. I hope this place gets a more sociable bartender, that is whatmakes our experiences with small breweries more enjoyable. Read more
