Service was slow. Waitress took 40 minutes just to bring drinks. And not all at once. Brought two than took another 5 minutes... before brought the other two. 2 tables came in after use got food before us even after we ordered our food first. Keptforgetting to bring more drinks and side dishes or condiments all came at different times. Felt they had plenty of help just notorganized well. Food was just ok nothing special. First time there. Not in any hurry to go back. Prices are high for the serviceand food quality they serve. Not terribly busy to justify any service issues. Was nice atmosphere. Was expecting better serviceand food. Not sure how a place like this is in Norfolk, it definitely has a Benson/Omaha vibe. Staff is super friendly. Full bar with... phenomenal drink menu. Kitchen is a bit slow but they said they are short staffed today. Prices are much higher than I wouldpay for the same food in Omaha, but I'm ok with it seeing as the alternatives were fast food or typical diner food. The $6Bloody Mary is likely the best one I've ever had and the pickle in it tasted homemade but the staff said it is from a jar. Bestpickle I've ever had in a bloody Mary. I can usually throw back a few brunch drinks but this one packs a boozy punch in a goodway. You definitely get your money's worth. I ordered the breakfast burrito and french fries. Don't come here on a Sunday if youare in a rush. There was some mistake in submitting my order because after waiting for 45 minutes the waitress realized thekitchen didn't have my order. I didn't have time to wait so they gave me my drink for free. I'm bummed I didn't get to try thefood. 3 stars for the excellent drink, cool vibes, and friendly service. This place has potential but not having several items on the menu on a Friday night is not acceptable. Hot apps were good but we... did not stay for dinner due a list of items they were out of. Service was great but for the price you pay, you should get superior food and I’ve honestly had better for way less. Not sure... how Norfolk will support a business of this price range. This kind of establishment belongs on Long Island or Manhattan. Weprobably won’t be back for a VERY long time! Read more

1 star for the atmosphere. It's a modern, cozy, welcoming location. Another star for the great staff they had. They were... thoughtful and top notch but the service was slow even though the restaurant only had 3 tables at the time. Now for the food,the ingredients are good quality but poorly executed. The wings are not krispy. They were a soggy mess with bland flavors. Thesteak was beautifully ?? presented but the flavors were one dimensional. The vegetables were missing any kind of flavor. Thecocktail they have try to take from the modern spicy infused with sweet flavors but they miss the mark. Instead of completingeach other they are just lost leaving you with some bad jungle juice in college. The beer though, I am not a beer lover but thebeers they had a tap are to rave for but they have a better selection across the street. Good service and a very clean and pleasant restaurant. I had a poor experience with a takeout order but they were very busy. The... staff is extremely friendly and seem to be trying their best.
