Quiet place with plenty of space and amazing service. Bartender was super friendly and helpful, ordered my food and had both... entree and appetizer within 5 minutes. Food is great quality and made the southern boy in me happy. Fried catfish and collardsare phenomenal. Read more
Great casual spot, the wife and each got a platter; (Pulled pork and Brisket) good portion sizes. Mac and Cheese (side) was... great. Brisket wasn?t as thick as I?m used to but still way better than most places. BBQ sauces at the table were a goodselection. Atmosphere was relaxed and we were very comfortable. Mom took us here for our birthday. I'm not a fan of the neighborhood but inside here is amazing. The food has great flavor and... the portions are very very generous. So this was our first time at the Fishin Pig and it won't be the last. This place is phenomenal. From the wait staff - Hunter... was our server to the drinks and the food. I had the catfish basket with Mac and cheese. The breading on the catfish andseasoning are perfect. The flavor is great. I tried my daughter's bang bang shrimp tacos. I will be trying that next timebecause they were so good. You can get BBQ, fish, shrimp, chicken and much more. It's close to where I worked at ODU so I cancome for lunch often. Read more
