Went this past Sunday night. The place was pretty quiet and not many tables were taken. I went in wanting to order the Detroit... style and was told when I tried to order that they were out. It was about 5:30 and they did not close till 8. On top of thembeing out the waitress did not even say sorry or try to offer something else that might have been good. The menu on Sunday isalso different and has less than half the options of the regular menu. My whole table got chicken tenders with fries becausethey did not have what any of us came there to originally order. When the chicken came it was chewy and rubbery and had agelatin type coating. We told the waitress nicely that the chicken did not taste right and all say said was "thats gross" andmade a disgusted face. She did not try to get us something new, get the manager, or even say sorry. It was a very disappointingexperience. Read more
Was not aware that the Sunday menu was different than any other day. Came here just to get a crispy birdie wrap and it isn’t... served on Sundays, which is ridiculous. Had to settle with chicken strips, which don’t even come with fries. Fries are $2.50more… My friend ordered a Detroit style cheese pizza, which is on the Sunday menu, and they said they were out. This is themost basic pizza. I loved their food the first two times I came but I will not be coming back. Read more
We used to eat here often. It was one of our favorite go-to’s. I’m so disappointed in the service I’ve received the last... three visits. I have to place my own order at my table and then my food doesn’t come out correctly or prompt and then I’mexpected to tip the person that didn’t even take my order. We just placed a carry out order and were asked to tip the “cookstaff “when nobody would even bring my order to my car . So disappointing! The pricing does NOT match the service. Read more
Get the sausage and pepperoni!! I grew up in Streator and loved Joe's for the past 40 years. I was so pleased when mom flew out... a sausage and pepperoni pizza when she came to visit. Tuesday 6/28/2022- a group of us about 12 to the pizza house. Our team leader ordered about 4?appetizers and the waitress came... by and took our order. When the food is being served my food never came. My order of Italian beef never came. I thought it wasbecause she had her hands full and will come back for the second round. Waited and waited. The person sitting to my rightordered late and her food came. And I am still waiting. Finally I asked two people for my food. Finally the waitress came andretook my order. I had the tavern style 12 inch buffalo chicken pizza and two beers. With tax the total came to $25, which I thought was very... reasonable. They had a lot of draft beer options, I believe 32. The pizza was very good and the service was excellent. I woulddefinitely come back to this place. Read more
Just ate lunch here with some friends and first off the food was amazing! We had the Italian beef roll, Philly roll and a... pizza…all were fantastic. Then to top it all off we had Jahna as our server and she not only gave us some of the best serviceI’ve had at a restaurant in a long time, but she had us laughing from the very beginning to the end of the meal!
