Food was great. Server a bit slow, but food was hot and quick to table. Great beer selection!!!
This place is so good! My friends and I came here once and liked it so much we came back. First night was for dinner. We all... loved our drinks, entrees, and dessert. The mule and mai tai were particular favorites. My scallops were to die for andeverything about that dish was perfect. The stroganoff was stroganoff but it was good. The creme brûlée was the fave of thedesserts. The cheesecake and chocolate cake were both good, just nothing out of the ordinary. We came back for brunch andmimosas were good. I got the seafood lasagna and it was so good and my leftover reheated really well. The vodka sauce was greatand the seafood was plentiful. My friends French toast was very good, tho our waitress recommended having it brought outimmediately because she said it's the best if it's fresh. Other foods were breakfast pizza, breakfast skillet, and chickenchilaquiles and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. Staff was always great. Our waitress the first night especially wasawesome and I wished I remembered her name to mentioned her by name. This was our first time to Medici. Our Salmon Brulee was very good. Brussel sprouts were amazing! The portions were great for... the price. The staff were very friendly. Very helpful with beer selections and suggestions for my husband. Read more
This is a solid place!! nice ambiance to the place, busy but not too packed. the service was great, food took a bit to come out... but that's expected and not a problem at all. Food was good, but portions were a bit small for the price. I got the chorizo BLATand greatly enjoyed it and the truffle fries were soooo good and salty. Read more
My first visit to Medici's in Normal. Though I'm no stranger to the original Medici in Chicago. For years and years I've very... much enjoyed the Medici atmosphere, "groovy" vibe, artworks and wonderful food in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Chicago! Alwaysexcellent. The location in Normal is no less interesting inside. And I'll say I found the staff in Normal to be much in thesame mindset as back in Chi-town. Really nice, laid back and helpful. I ate here with my brother— we had a great brunch. Thefood is delicious here in Normal! Of course I'm going back. Read more
Wow, we had a great dining experience at Medici tonight! The outside patio upstairs was perfect for some drinks and great food.... I highly recommend the Chicken Ranch pizza and the Medici burger! Both were cooked perfectly tonight! We will certainly beback! Read more
Came here last month for dinner service was great food was the same. I can’t remember the gentleman who was a server but he... was great at service. Not so much on the menus as he stated he was new. I’d definitely try this place again. Read more
Delicious food! We have eaten here three times now! They get you seated quickly with quick service on the food! My husband loved... his wedge salad with grilled chicken. The kids shared a pizza that they both liked. I didn’t try any of it but my husband saidit was good. They did half cheese and pepperoni. I had the chicken sandwich with sweet potato tots! I get the same thing everytime I visit Medici. The tree in the middle of the restaurant is pretty cool! I also think the sinks in the bathroom are kindafun! Read more
