Ordering was excellent plus the staff cares about getting you in and out. I was skeptical at first, being from Chicago we are... spoiled, that was an experience to die for. It?s a small, clean and good place to stop by to grab some good food. Inside we have seating for 12 people. Staff is very... humble and friendly. Food was server quick within 10mins. The food is usually good, but the delivery is very lacking. I placed an online order for delivery 2 hours prior to the requested... time. The delivery time passed and I called them. They only have one driver for both stores. So my food is over an hour late andcold. If you want food from here, do NOT get delivery. Wasted $20 on cold food that was over an hour late. Read more
Stopped by from Elgin Ill , daugher is registering for college at ISU, Hotdogs were spot on buns super fresh , and corn dogs... were perfect , fries were cooked exactly as ordered...only thing I would change and add would be celery salt to the dogs, andswitch to coke products....but whenever I'm visiting I'm stopping by. The butter garlic fries were delicious. I wish they came in a smaller portion. The Chicago dog was good. I think there is too... much relish but that is just my taste. The bun gets too soggy. My friend can't have small seeds so he requested a bun with nopoppyseeds. They put his chili dog on a poppyseed bun. When he went back up to have it switched the staff argued with him andtried to brush the seeds off and give it back to him he refused it and got a refund. He also requested onions on his chilifries which they forgot but added when he took them back up. I tasted his chili fries but didn't like the taste of the chili. Read more
Review Date: August 17th, 2014 Fun name. Delicious food. While exploring Bloomington-Normal one day, my friends and I came... across Windy City Wieners. First, we chuckled at the name but then decided we should grab some lunch there. Firstly, Windy CityWieners is located in a pleasant place location in Normal. It?s near the Amtrak station, the street it?s on has lots of littleshops to browse. There is a parking lot to park nearby so you can walk around and visit shops. Now to the food. My friend Mattand I stopped by for food. It has been a few years, so I don?t recall what I had. But I do know it was delicious. So good that Iwanted to order another dog or two. Matt also enjoyed his meal and wanted a few more dogs, too. My memory may be a bit foggy,but I do remember the friendly staff and how delicious the food was. Conveniently, they have 2 locations, so if you are in thearea, you have 2 choices of where to get some authentic Chicago-style hot dogs. Read more
I can't figure out how a "gyro wrap" doesn't come with gyro meat? I've ordered on two separate occasions, figuring maybe the... first time was a mistake, and both times I ordered (two weeks apart) I received a wrap with just lettuce, tomatoes, onion andsauce in it. Literally just a salad in a wrap, but they are selling it as a gyro wrap and charging youaccordingly. Disappointing. Read more
