We ate here for the first time the other day, it was a very enjoyable experience. I had the grilled shrimp and steak combo with... rice and a Caesar salad. I have to say, the grilled shrimp was some of the best I've ever had, especially from a chainrestaurant! The salad had crisp romaine and the rice was perfectly cooked. I saw some amazing reviews and have never tried Saltgrass so I decided to try yesterday.. My fiancé and I were asked what we... wanted to drink and order an appetizer then needed a second to order he rushed us but he took our orders down then left, Idecided what alcohol drink I was going to order and had to wait til we got our food before I could even order it then he justhad to comment on how I don’t even look 21. He was running around doing who knows what. I never got my drink. He never evenlooked at our Tea’s for refills. Then when he handed us the ticket he realized he forgot my drink and said oh well at least Ididn’t charge you for it. Wow. He brings our card back and guess what this man puts on our table right in front of our baby!This man lays a black and mild cigar on our dinner table I turned quickly and said sir and handed it to him. This place was absolutely wonderful. It was my first time here and man was I impressed! The service was excellent, the food... portions were very fair and the drinks were awesome. I also tried my first Bloody Mary and it was really good. I would highlyrecommend the saltgrass to all of my friends and family as the service was exceptional!! A++ Read more
I ordered the Steak Salad after much debate in my mind. The server convinced me and I'm glad I listened. The only change I made... was no olives. It was delicious. The steak was cooked med well as I ordered. The green beans were seasoned. Potatoes were cold,no added flavor. I would order this salad again. Hubby loved his Ribeye. Our server Madison was fantastic. Excellent food, cooked correctly. My wife got the chicken fried steak, it was huge. My sirloin... was med rare, with the best amount of pink. Definitely coming back, one of our new favorite steak houses! Read more

Update - Second time coming here. Got seated and it was 6 minutes for a server to ever come over to our table. It was not busy... during our visit. The wait staff moved slowly and other patrons also looked frustrated by how slow they were. Will not be comingback. First time to eat there. Had the gulf coast steak and fried shrimp, fried pickles and a Caesar salad. Everything wasreally good and service was excellent. Read more
The service was excellent...better than at most places...even tho we heard bets being placed on whether our server would lose... his pants or not. I ordered the lunch/rib eye steak and was shocked by the low quality of my steak. Did not expect that poor ofa cut of meat from Salt grass, any place else...yes..but not that thin, flat piece of cow meat...it did have a good taste thobut med rare is hard to achieve when cooking your shoe sole!!
