So we?ve been loyal Teds Escondido patrons for quite some time until Tarahumara?s. The place was packed, filled to the brim. It... was game day Bedlam to be precise. We were sat decently fast for being so busy. Chips, salsa, and cheese as we sat down. Drinkswere brought out and are order taken. Food arrived FRESH AND HOT ! Sizzling. The food was excellent. The best Fajitas I?ve hadin Oklahoma. The only part or negative I had to say is the seating or where we were sat at was by the bar were patrons could getdrinks and people would be waiting on their drinks while we were trying to eat. The tortillas were maybe 3 out 5, they were goodbut just didn?t seem from scratch. Neither of these would keep me from going back! Or recommending the place to others! Read more

Absolutely excellent! From start to finish! Loved my time here. The food is of excellent authentic standard. The restaurant... could use a lick of paint and some restoration in certain areas. Best Mexican food in Norman and okc area. Plenty of indoor seating including patio seating on the side. Staff is super friendly... and prompt. Prices are great as well and you definitely get your money?s worth. Chips are always crispy and fresh, cheese sauceis absolutely delicious & flavorful along with the fresh salsa. Can?t just recommend one item over the other as it?s all danggood. Chicken enchiladas are excellent, moist & seasoned well, ground beef is flavorful, the fajita meats always tender &delicious, rice definitely tender with great seasoning and we like the whole beans. Very busy eatery. It has a patio with great outdoor seating and eating. It was able to accommodate our group of 30 easily on the... patio. The service was great. They were even nice about it when you had to pass through the serving area to get to therestroom. It was my first time to dine there. I will be back again. Read more

When we decided to stop they were very busy. We were concerned we would have a long wait. However, we were immediately seated... and had chips and salsa within a minute. They were attentive and it was one of most efficient, quick and delicious meals I havehad. We never had to wait for anything. The food was hot and so good! We will definitely be back. Read more

As usual, this place is always bustling to get in. When we did get a table it was practically in the kitchen... But they were... gracious enough to move us to a booth as soon as one opened up. Some of the staff were very friendly. Unfortunately, we didn'trealize how expensive most of the meals were and that there was no complimentary dessert and the flan, which was extraordinary,was actually $7.50 a slice... It was probably worth it, but definitely a surprise when we got the bill. I would definitelyrecommend this place for anyone who appreciates more authentic Mexican food with great service.
