Attentive waitress & great patio seating. Food wasn't anything to write home about, but the Swirl was pretty good.
If you are traveling and are in Norman you must stop by and eat at this iconic restaurant. The Swirls are a must and the chips... and queso with sausage is a perfect appetizers. I have had probably half the menu over the years and haven't been disappointed.You can sit inside or outside and they also have bar. I have had issues with a few servers who don't seem to care and only comearound once every 15 minutes. I know it get busy but it can be worse then any other restaurant. However I keep coming back andenjoying the food and drinks! Read more
Haven't been at The Mont for years but had a chance recently for the OU spring game. Was busy on Saturday but the wait was not... too bad. Staff is friendly and the food was great. I recommend to try the Sooner Swirl and the queso and chips. Read more
Chill restaurant and bar with a cute, heat d patio that also blocks out lights from nearby traffic. 80's music played as we... enjoyed some bomb cheese fries and mimosas in the evening hours. Great choice if you're looking for a down to Earth eatery withcomforting food & stiff drinks. Mac took care of us - great server, always attentive and friendly. We will be back! Read more
The Mont is a traditional must go to whenever I’m in town visiting. Everything I’ve tried so far has been quality and for a... great price. This time I got the taco salad and that has to be the best taco salad I’ve ever eaten. The vegetables werefresh, the meat was seasoned & flavorful, and the taco shell tasted awesome. I washed it all down with a Sooner swirl! Iabsolutely love this place and will be back the next time I’m in town. Read more
Our waitress was really nice and she is honestly the reason why I give it a 4 and not a 3. The food was just okay. Nice drink... menu, went with the swirl of course. The queso was definitely the best part. This is more of a grab an appetizer and drinks typeof place. Read more
This is a family friendly place and people like it. It also has a bar and a nice outdoor area, which I personally like. I’ve... been here a few times. My review is more based on the food more than the locale itself. The drinks and food are good. Notoutstanding. The meat I ordered was dry and hard, and the flavor was ok. Your regular chips and salsa, and good drinks. It’svery accommodating of kids, which is nice when you have as many as we do in the family. Service was good. Read more
