Great Mexican food in Norman. Waitress was excellent. Good was good. My drink was tasty.
Location: 12th avenue Extremely disappointed, very rude service and wrong order. Was so horrible I have decided to not to visit... this location any more. We ordered 1 California burrito and 1 half pound burrito, not only they were skinny even though thename sounds big, they were horrible. The price so expensive, for which I can go to a way better restaurant and be so satisfied.If you plan to go for a Mexican meal, consider some other place. Norman has one of the best restaurants, don?t go here and wasteyour money and time. Save some trouble for your stomach and wallet. Read more
Small, surprisingly good Mexican restaurant. Is all do it yourself, but the food is excellent!
It was very yummy food. The tacos were great, though not necessarily the best in town. The chorizo and carnitas were dazzling,... the azada was just OK. The guacamole really earned them the 5 stars... so good. Their chips were very good, made there Ibelieve, as were the tortillas. The green spicy salsa was also very good, serrano-based, I think. They are a very new restaurant. I'll revisit this review in about a month or so when they have a bit more experience and things... run more smoothly. Prices were a bit high for the quality of food which could be compared to a taco truck. The classic tomatorice had a good flavor but the beans were nothing to write home about, they were a bit heavy on the cumin. The steak tacos werequite tasty, as were the carnitas. Read more
Volcano?s Mexican and it's friendly staff consistently serve fantastic authentic-style Mexican food that cannot be beaten. Over... the past few years, I have always struggled to find an authentic Mexican restaurant that offers excellent food in the Norman/OKCarea. After receiving a recommendation from a friend, I hesitantly visited Volcano?s due to some skepticism I had from itsbuilding?s appearance. Little did I know that this outing would lead to countless future visits leaving me with the utmostsatisfaction. If you have not tried this restaurant and enjoy authentic Mexican, please give it a shot! I imagine you will bepleasantly surprised by the quality and flavors of their food! Food Recommendations 1. Enchiladas (Shredded Chicken)(definitely try combination plate #2) 2. Chips and queso (or guacamole) 3. Tacos (Shredded beef) 4. Flautas (ShreddedChicken) 5. Tostada (Shredded Chicken) 6.
