I've been to Popeye's ALL OVER this country and this location is consistantly the best. The breading is always crispy and fully... intact. The chicken is very meaty. The staff just gets friendlier and faster through time. As an ex fried chicken chef, I cantruly appreciate the high traffic and the speed of order fulfillment. Went to the location on Main St as it's closer than the mall by half a mile (and no mall traffic). I live in Phoenixville,... roughly 22 minutes away. When I got home, most of my food was cold. The sandwich was lukewarm due to being in the lined wrapper.The nuggets and biscuits were cold. I've gotten Popeyes before in the KOP mall and driven home (same length of time) and thefood is always hot. This was a disappointment to say the least. Especially paying $13! This location is much cleaner than the one on Main Street. They have a young staff, service is fast. My issue is with quality... control. I?ve been here on numerous occasions where either I ordered spicy and got mild, PAID for sauce that they didn?t supply,or the biscuits came out rock hard and dark (see picture). They?re new to the area so I want to give them the benefit of thedoubt but these biscuits are unacceptable. If only the people at the Main St location could train them on quality (softbiscuits, buttered) and they could train Main Street on cleanliness and teamwork. They both would succeed. Read more

Popeyes got the best chicken. A little pricey now but not because of them. Hopefully things get straightened out very soon.
