I am so frustrated. Pros: I really like this space for getting together and having breakfast with friends. I like the menu. The... prices are pretty good. Cons: The staff seems totally put out by everything. I feel like I'm a total bother just wanting toplace an order. The new staff in the am look absolutely miserable. Plus, the kitchen is SO loud and we can here everything inthe dining area. They yell, joke around, LOUD. They don't seem to be professionals or even care that customers are trying toconverse. We shouldn't even be able to hear the kitchen. It's beyond crazy. This am shift needs owners oversight because I knowthey care. Please make me want to come here again. Read more
I recently ate at Lickety Split before a show as they were offering dinner service. I called ahead to see if they have any... gluten free options. They said they have burgers with gluten free bread so my partner and I decided to give it a try as the menulooked good. The burgers were large--8 oz. and too much food for my partner and I. We ordered both burgers medium-rare. Bothburgers were rare... on one side and the side we happened to eat first. The meat was lukewarm and uncooked on the other half.They must have been cooked in a cheap pan that does not distribute heat well. If it was a sit-down restaurant and we did nothave a show to go to, we would have sent them back (something we almost never do). The bread was gluten free but not grilled atall. So it was an undercooked burger on plain bread; it was not a good meal. The fries were generous and very tasty. Despite theattractive menu, we will not be eating there again. Read more
Excellent ice cream! Burnt Sugar and Butter is one of the best flavors ever developed.
