Just found this place while sitting at stop light,and jackpot, it's the bomb... lady at counter was funny and super nice,I... ordered a totra and yummy, nice crispy edges ,soft inside of the bread,steak was tender and flavorful. Will be back or sure.Definitely worth stopping in and giving your favorite menu item a try from them. I've been here at least two times I tried the burritos both times. I believe I had maybe the supremo burrito, it was three meats... mixed together I think it was steak chorizo and something else it was excellent! The second burrito was steak. They grill theburritos so it's toasted on the outside and I love it! the burritos are very, very filling and it will be worth your money whenothers are not quite worth your money. Good tacos. I had passed this place many times coming off the highway from Ohio going to st charles. Finally tried it. We... ordered like 5 different tacos. They were pretty good. The shrimp only had 3 shrimp. I would avoid that one next time. Read more
This place is great. Don?t know how I?ve missed it all these years. The owner is very warm and welcoming brining fresh chips... and salsa to the table immediately. He gave us ample time to order and provided some options of what he felt was best. My dadordered the fish tacos and he said they were great. Nice and flaky with a lot of flavor. My wife ordered the pastor tacos andshe said they are very authentic Mexican and you can clearly tell. I ordered the chile rellanos and they were good. They weregreen chiles and the batter was very light on it. The cheese was flowing and extra gooey. I would 100% recommend thisrestaurant to anyone in the area. What a great find. Everything we ordered was very fresh and tasted delicious. The guac was perfect, made to order. My son... ordered a burrito and loved it. I tried a pollo tlayuda, similar to a Mexican pizza or giant tostada. It was huge and I tookhalf of it home. We will definitely return to try other items. Read more
I really like the food and the people here. The Tamales taste just like my mother would make...if she were Mexican and not Irish... and could make Tamales! We once ate our way across the entire Yucatan Peninsula on a Rotary Club trip and have been to the Bajatoo, where I fell in love with small Mexican restaurants and street taco vendors. This place has a similar joyful vibe andatmosphere. Julissa sings better than the owner, but it didn't affect his cooking! Read more
