I love this place! The pizza is just incredible! Amazing crust and sauce. Baked in a huge, authentic wood-fired pizza oven. Very... clean. Our server was fantastic: friendly, smart, helpful, and quick-witted. The patio was very nice: it?s screened-in, so nobugs, and the heaters were on keeping us cozy. First time. Arrived 45 minutes after opening and they were already out of meatballs! Super popular item as every table around... us also asked for and were disappointed by the lack. We started with the mussels, which were very tasty! Hubby loved the housemade Balsamic Vinegrette dressing and salad that came with his Chicken parm sandwich. I had the arugula pizza which wasexcellent. My kid had the lunch prix fixe selection (salad, margerita or pepperoni and gelato for $19) on a gluten free crust($4), which was also excellent. Great little gem. We took a ride after seeing the sign on the highway near Sturgeon Falls. We order a panini and pizza... delicious. Definitely authentic Italian food. We were too full to order the dessert pizza! Read more
What a beautiful restaurant to visit while in North Bay! Not only is it a refreshing change to visit a restaurant that isn't a... large chain, but to receive such friendly and efficient service is something that guarantees this establishment will be a staplein the area for many years to come. If you have the opportunity to visit on a nice day, their patio offers an intimate andatmospheric experience for couples, friends, and families alike. Our server was very knowledgeable, polite, and excellent at herrole and it shows how much she enjoys working there with the passion she delivered in our experience. On the way out, the staffwere kind enough to let us take a picture of their beautiful wood oven and gave us a brief description of how it all works. It'sa site to behold as it is in the heart of the restaurant, enabling all customers to see how the magic happens. Absolutely amazing!! I tried one of their popular pizzas, the chicken cacciatore pizza which was soo good, unfortunately I was... not able to try their dessert pizzas but I?m definitely coming back again! Read more
If you haven't been here you're missing out, this is our new favourite spot! Haley was fantastic and even though she was busy... she was so attentive and always had a smile on her face! Food is the closest to authentic Italian food that you can get in townwhich we are so grateful for. We loved that the kitchen was open and so clean and the staff was welcoming. The only thing thatthey are missing is a bartender, would have made the service that much quicker. I was told about this place by a friend, and I'm sure glad I took him up on his recommendation! The restaurant's brand and... display is on point and really highlights the theme - arugula - including its green and black decor and colouring. Not to beoutdone, the appetizer and main course we had were amazing! The Mussels Marinara were simple but just right. The sauce andseasoning allowed the mussels, which were cooked perfectly, to be the headline flavour when you ate them. Well done! TheVegetarian Neapolitan Pizza was excellent. The crust was thin and light, the sauce was just enough to let the vegetables,including the arugula, and goat cheese come out and steal the show. I was very impressed. Excellent! Dropped in after a recomendation from a friend in Sudbury. Such a pleasant experience. Lively friendly atmosphere,... and the greatest pizza, salads and appi's. Had a brief chat with the waitress, who told me how wonderful it was to work there. How everyone gets along and are accommodating to each individuals needs in life. So glad we stopped in. Read more
