The sushi was mediocre at best but pricey for "all you can eat" buffet. I have had better sushi in Toronto and GTA and KW area.... I was visiting North Bay area for the first time. They seem to nickel and dime you for everything. The staff needs to be morefriendly. The server robots were intriguing and unique, but that's about it. I would not go back there again and would notsuggest this restaurant to family or friends. Read more
LOVE THIS SPOT. We did the all you can eat and were left completely satisfied. The salmon was fresh, tasty and just fell apart... in your mouth. The rolls were good and their little ribs were delicious!!! They even got the server robots and honestly it'sjust the cutest addition. Our waiter was super friendly and funny as well and made the whole experience enjoyable. Their dinneris a bit pricey (our bill was about $130 for 2 adults all-you-can-eat, 3 beers & tip) so I would say go for lunch time duringthe week if your on a budget. I?ll be fair and honest. I don?t like to write negative reviews. If my review isn?t positive (5 stars) I try to provide as much... context as possible. It?s our first sushi in North Bay and I?m comparing it with good sushi places in Toronto. I have no ideahow this place ranks compared to other sushi places in North Bay. If this is North Bay level sushi, I?d avoid it. Didn?t feelfresh at all. They were truly skimping on everything, we had 3 shreds of ginger each, 3 adults (as per my order) for 80 pieces:9 tiny shreds of pink ginger. Barely enough wasabi. Tons of soy sauce. Really skimped on salmon. The Tao chicken left much toobe desired (not sushi but I ordered it). The machine that charged us didn?t have a ?no tip? option, minimum was 10%. I?m doing atakeout. It?s ok, pandemic times, I?m ok to pay, but at least the guy could?ve smiled and put more ginger. They had put one setof chopsticks despite me having ordered for 3 adults. They added 2 more when I insisted. It?s not the worse sushi I?ve had(although I ate 45 minutes ago and o feel sick, hopefully nothing bad). But I?d avoid this place. Read more
