I was staying in North Bay for about 2 months and I became a regular at this beautiful steakhouse ???? The food was quite varied... and unimaginably succulent! The staff were great, very friendly and kind. This is by far the best bar/restaurant in North Bay,and I got a chance to visit them all ???? Make sure you try out their steaks on the stone! Read more
Great food and amazing service. Will definitely visit again. The speciality of Lot 88 Steakhouse is that the stakes are severed... seared on a hot stone and you let it cook in front of you to your desired consistency. Good restaurant. Somewhat pricey but that's to be expected post covid. No alcohol and our bill was 150 all in. I started with... the baked brie and it was delicious. I had the steak and lobster on the stone. While the novelty was fun and interesting Idon't think I'll do it again. I prefer my steak med rare with a proper rest and I struggled with that on the stone. Next time Iwill have them cook it for me. My hubby had the escargot for starters and they were good. Typical and cooked properly. He hadthe chicken fettuccine for dinner and didn't eat most of it. It was very over flavoured and powerful. To much for his liking. It got boxed and feed to the animals at home. Over all a 3 out of 5 but we would go back and try other menu items. Possiblefuture update. Read more
It was a so/so experience for my first visit to Lot 88. It had a cute atmosphere - all booths have a mini fireplace which is... adorable. Good choice of food and servers were attentive. We seemed to have 3-4 servers as they switched off quite often. Thereason for the 3 stars is the food aspect of the resturaunt. I ordered the parmesan crusted chicken. It tasted like chicken withshake-en-bake on it. It was not crusted it was just breaded. The corn is horrible to eat when you are eating with guests as itgets stuck in your teeth and is akward to eat. The ONLY thing that saved the dish was the red wine demi sauce (delicious) whichwas an extra $2.50 on top of $24. It made the dish more enjoyable but it was still lacking for me. The steak stone is a coolconcept but is pricey as well. I'm not sure I'd return unless someone was to suggest it. Read more
