The manager Cole was amazing. He deserves a pat on the back. Everything else however was not. We were a party of 2 and got there... at about 4:15, we were served right away. The server was sat 5 times in 10 minutes. Very unfair to her to be fair. The firstmeal came out 30 mins after we ordered, it was the complete wrong meal. We sent it back and our server still did not come tocheck on us, 20 minutes later our meals came back out again. We ordered ribs and a steak, the ribs were cold and my medium steakwas far past well done as well cold. I sent my steak back and another 15 minutes passed until my steak came out again, onceagain it was way over cooked. I had to ask a host to get the manager because our server was no where to be found. He was great,came over right away and took the meal off our bill then gave us a free desert. I wish the manager would?ve been alerted by ourserver prior to my 3rd steak being over cooked. I have ordered from Montana's numerous times (take out) and tried to eat in a couple of weeks ago but left because they were out... of chicken (wanted to order wings). Also, the tables were not cleared, Just didn't look clean. This is the third time thoughthey have been out of food. Tried to order ribs one night- they had no ribs. Last time, no chicken. Tonight when I walked in topick up my take out they had written on the board that they were out of Beer!!! LOL It's not really funny but at this point allI can do is laugh. Service was good however, the food was lacking. Caesar salad, had no taste and was water logged, the server asked if we wanted... more dressing to give it flavour, kind pass... Husband had the brisket burger and it was not good, soaked in oil the toasted bunwas soggy, dripping with BBQ sauce all you could taste was the smoke from the brisket, he's still not feeling well after eatingit (6hours later) don't think the food was "bad" but it definately was not good. Worst Montanas we have ever been to. Slow service we sat at the table maybe 10 mins before being served. Dirty restaurant.... Tables were left uncleared for extended periods of time. The table beside us told the server their table was sticky. Onewashroom stall was out of order and used paper towel left scattered in the bathroom. No beer on tap as they were waiting forparts. The wine supply was also low with only the option of shiraz available. Icecream drink was unavailable as they had runout of product. Seems the restaurant has been left unmanaged, with lack of planning for supplies. Not to the quality expectedof Montanas franchise. On a positive note the burger was tasty however ribs were dry and didnt fall off the bone. Reading theowners response to consistent bad reviews... No, I will NOT fill out your survey form. Absolutely terrible customer service! Our family of four went out for dinner. We were seated right away, the restaurant was not... busy even for dinner time. We literally sat there for 40 minutes without even being acknowledged to START our orders! Did nottake our drink order and had multiple staff walk by our table and not even care or realize our table had not been served. Whenwe finally tried to get the attention of a waitress they were not friendly and did not end up coming back after. We finally gotfed up and just left and went to Boston Pizza around the corner. This was our second time trying this Montana?s location andgave them another chance. The first time was very slow service and took over an hour to get our food and then another 30 minutesto get our bill. Service has not improved and has gotten worse. We will never go back. Read more
Server was great. Food was just blah. The corn bread was trash. Rock hard, I squeezed it and it broke into pieces. Gravy didn't... have much flavour . Chicken was tender and juicy thou. Read more
Cool, crisp draft beer. Very friendly staff! (especially bartenders) Food has always been good as well. Our new happy hour... location. Best location I've been to overall. Highly recommended. Read more
