Had dinner here with a friend and it was delicious. Started by sampling a few beer to pick a favorite to order. Thanks for doing... that. Next we had a cauliflower starter which was nice touch. Crispy and flavorful. We had the station burger that was servedhot, fresh and juicy. Really good value for the money. The place was full but we didnt wait long. Will be back when in townagain. nice spot for either dine in restaurant, option of a patio also. Service was good from the beginning when we were greeted and... seated, our orders were taken rarely quickly. They have a variety of beer on tap and I tried their clear which wasfantastic. Food was worth the price, Brie Turkey Burger was tasty, I did feel like I was missing something like a sauce or sometangy taste to it. The cranberry relish is a good add on as the butter sweet flavour. Would recommend trying this spot! Read more
If I could, I would give it more then a 5 I would give it a 50.. me and my boyfriend went there for a date night for the first... time since this COVID started.. and it was great... After a recommendation from one of my clients I decided to try out this place yesterday. I ordered the BBQ Duck tacos which were... great and the sticky toffee pudding for dessert. I decided on the 14 oz ribeye Medium rare. The steak came out pretty burnt. Thechar taste was overwhelming and it was a bit over cooked. The Front of the house manager Cole, came over and addressed myconcern. He had a new steak made for me. Unfortunately that one, while not burnt was well done. He was visually upset and compedmy whole meal. He asked if I could come back tomorrow to give them another shot and give an honest review. The head chef was offand would be in the next day. He gave me a card with his info and asked me to call him and he would come in on his day off tosit with me for dinner. I took him up on his offer. This time I ordered the sirloin crustini for appetizer and the salmon forentree. Ordered the butter tart for dessert. The food was great. Good portions and great service. My server who is the bartenderwas Erin and was fantastic. The fact that this manager cared enough to come in on his day off to ensure I had a betterexperience speaks wonders not only of his character but also of the restaurant itself. This is the place to have lunch in North Bay. Very busy but the staff are highly professional and trained to ensure your... experience is excellent. The decor is urban and stylish. The menu is extensive with numerous vegetarian and gluten free options.The food is made with exclusively fresh produce and the portion sizes are highly substantive. The price is disproportionatelylow. Great ambiance, great service, great food? not sure why you would go elsewhere. Read more
The food looks great! But it only looks great. The place is very busy, so reservations at least three days in advance is... recommended. Service is excellent, and the people who work there are polite to each other. Most of the beer in the menu wereout, which is odd, considering how it's a Tap House but the taps were dry. We sat indoors, accompanied by buzzing flies, gazingat cobwebs in the windows and wondering if the flies were too big for the spiders to consume. That thought occupied me the bulkof the time. That's how delicious the food was. To be fair, we only had the steak, so other items might taste fantastic. We willnever know, because we won't be returning. Read more
We ordered Beef Stroganoff and Country Chicken Fettucine and we started eating it within 8 minutes of picking it up. Honestly,... we were both incredibly disappointed. The fettuccine had no flavour and the chicken was boiled, over cooked and tasteless. Thebeef also looked boiled and was tasteless and overcooked. The stroganoff sauce was alright but nothing above basic. Thefettuccine sauce tasted like buttery cheese water. I thought it would have been worth $55 for two portions had it been as goodas these fake reviews had indicated but it wasn't and I will avoid returning.
