The hostess seemed annoyed by our mere presence when we came in on this Monday evening. There is a two hour wait and when we... asked if we could sit at the sushi bar for dinner, we were told it’s a ‘waiting area’. There were NO PEOPLE SITTING THERE.And approximately 10 people waiting outside. Sounds like a bad business decision. Will not even try another location. Awfulattitude for the person at your front door. Might want to consider hiring more welcoming folk for your traveling tourists whoWANT TO SPEND MONEY. ????? Read more

I’ve been going here for years. No matter what I’m doing I don’t mind driving for some lunch & my sakitini. Service, food,... atmosphere still good. Went to Benihana on a Saturday evening with a 7pm reservation. I was really excited to see the new building. The new building is... one story high and definitely not as interesting as the previous one. We got there at 7pm, we seated at the bar for 1.30 min,then once we set at the table we waited another hour for the chef to come to the table. Service was very slow. To get anotherdrink would take 30 mins. Definitely not going back again. If I knew we would have to wait 2 hours and 30 mins to eat I wouldnever go there. Read more
If I could give this place zero stars I would. We arrived at 8pm for our 8pm reservation. The place was a ZOO. Floor was... extremely slippery. Our feet would slide sideways just standing in place and we had to walk with our arms out for balance. Wefinally got seated at 10:30, at 10:45 there was still no chef in sight. The waiter was absolutely terrible. She did not fill upany glasses of water, we had to ask for more. She did not pick up empty dishes, we had to get them off the table ourselves andplace them on the counter behind us to make room. She bought my wine in a filthy glass full of smudge marks an hour after Iordered it, which I immediately returned as I lost my desire to drink even though at this point I desperately needed an adultbeverage. And for the cherry on top they ran out of vanilla ice cream which was included in our meal. Our birthday dinner wascompletely ruined. They seemed to be really short staffed but waiting 3 hours past a reservation time and experiencing thishorrible service is unacceptable. The employees seemed really stressed and burnt out. Our chef stated he had been there since9am without a break. Security officers were rolling silverware. Management does an extremely poor job at running this location.Restaurant was scheduled to close at 11 but at midnight they were still seating people and the restaurant was full. We got there expecting to get the full-blown Hibachi show, instead, we got a cooker that cooked in front of us with little to no... show at all. They also tried to avoid giving us dishes that we were supposed to get (part of their meal course) and when I askedthey say "oh, you want it?" and then they brought it. Food was tasty though.
