Subpar sushi for too much money. I ordered the sonic roll and the dragon roll at 6:15pm on a friday night, i was with two other... people who each ordered a roll. It wasn't busy but still took a while for our meals to come out. the first roll I ate I couldimmediately tell the rice wasn't cooked right, it was firm like it was either undercooked or had been cooked a while ago andhardened. My compatriots agreed, and it was that way through both rolls. The flavor was fine, not amazing but serviceable. thesushi also fell apart really easily. I've heard of other people having good experiences, but they have always done theall-you-can-eat bar where dudes behind the counter make it in front of you, so that might be better. Read more

Really bummed that the food wasn't better given that it is the only sushi place in the area. The rice was overcooked and there... was far too much on each roll. The rolls were not rolled or cut nearly so the pieces were irregular sizes and they weren't verynice to look at, quite honestly. No ginger or wasabi included in our to-go order. The "best" roll we ordered was the fried rollso I guess if you like very American style sushi this place might be your thing? For the price, you might as well go get sushiat the Safeway next door. We've had a great experience every single time coming here. Service has been fantastic, and the chefs are great at what they do.... We like it more than the other trappers location because of the consistency in quality and the smaller location usually comeswith better service and less wait times. Read more

3 Bonnie Lake rolls for $30. It was more than enough to feed my wife and I. The heart shaped presentation was just their special... touch! On Monday’s long rolls are 3 for $30. Great deal and always good! Read more

Had the AYCESR a couple weeks ago - that's All You Can Eat Sushi RICE. First AYCE Sushi is rare and with inflation I wasn't... expecting to be that impressed, but said what the heck. The price has gone up to $34.95 (at least) if I recall. I made themistake of ordering 3 orders of two kinds of nigiri. I should have gotten more of a variety to scope out what was actuallydecent. I was expecting the cuts of fish to be small and the amount of rice to be large. I was also expecting the rice to beover seasoned (sort of like how everything at a Buffet AYCE restaurant is so salty - to help make you feel full.) Iunderestimated. The cuts of fish were laughable, probably about half the amount you get at a conveyor belt place and thequality was very mediocre. Rice had too much sugar as expected. I had a stomach ache I had to eat so much rice just to get asmall amount of actual protein. On the plus side, the place has an okay atmosphere (not traditional Japanese) and the staff wasfriendly and gave good service including what look like to be two late 20-something White Boys making the sushi. If you don'tlike "real" sushi, as in, actual RAW fish, you may like this place as they have a wide selection of rolls that are justdifferent combinations of the same 6 or 7 ingredients many with no raw fish, some with mayo-based sauce, some teriyaki basedsauce, some with both. I call this Scaredy Cat "Cheescake Factory" Sushi. Anyone who claims this place has some of the bestsushi around has been living in the woods around North Bend and not eaten sushi in the city. If you go in with moderateexpectations and are going to eat mostly the cooked food, I think you'll be okay though. Read more

Really was hoping to like this place. Please don’t go here if you like authentic sushi. Nearly every roll has cream cheese and... jalapeños in it which tells you all you need to know. The food is expensive grocery store quality. The least they could do isadd a track. They even have a Trump roll….sigh….Smallest and saddest tempura shrimp I have ever seen or paid for-$7.50 forthat?! Paid nearly $3 for a 4oz glass without refill of green tea. The cucumber salad is nearly tasteless and watery. Wouldrecommend driving 15 minutes to Issaquah for Aji Sushi which is much fresher- and you get free miso. Just sad overall thatanyone likes this place. Read more
