Delicious food first and foremost. Great attentive and quick and polite staff, with smiles. Definitely a place to go back too

Wonderful Peruvian food - full of flavour... The restaurant held our table for 15 minutes as we were held up in traffic, even... though they were busy - and the service was just right - available when needed and not intrusive. The food is freshly preparedand did take some time to arrive, and it was simply excellent! Read more

I'm so happy I found this place! I love Peruvian food. I had the Chaufa with beef and chicken. My friend tried the Lomo Saltado.... We shared the garlic shrimp and yucca huancaina. Everything was fantastic. Can't wait to try the Parihuela and everything else! Read more

This was my first time at this Peruvian restaurant. I was invited by people who love eating here and recommended it to me. The... servers were very helpful. We waited a bit for our table. This place gets full. Once seated, they brought over roasted cornwith some sauces and later some warmed up bread. They took our drinks and orders. They were quick about bringing the food. Itried what looks like fried rice with shrimps. It was not as good. But the marisco salteado was pretty good. The tostones andmaduros were pretty good. I tried it with their spicy avocado sauce on the table. Overall, it was a good experience. Read more

Came here on a whim on a Saturday since my friend and I were in the neighborhood. I've had Peruvian food maybe once or twice in... my life so I was excited to try it again. It's located at the corner of a very busy street with a lot of other restaurants. Thelocation is great because it's right at the corner of the park nearby which is super nice for a stroll after eating. Ourwaitress was really nice and we waited maybe 5 minutes while a table freed up. There is no outdoor seating, so it's only indoor, but the tables are spaced really far apart which was great. There were many locals and was pretty packed for a Saturday night. One thing I enjoyed about the restaurant was that they had TVs that had a slideshow of the food on the menu. I wish morerestaurants had this to be honest since you can see what the food looks like before ordering. For food, we got the causa withtuna, pescado frito with avocado salad, lomo saltado, and chicha morada to drink. The causa was a nice appetizer although theydo have bread too. The pescado frito was really nicely fried and the flavors were great. It was a big piece of fish for what itwas priced at. I do wish the salad had some dressing, but they do bring some sauces on the side in the beginning so it wasn'tthat bad. The lomo saltado was pretty good. Huge portion with a side of rice. All in all, it was around $50 for two includingtip. Pretty decent for the amount of food. I would definitely come back to try the Peruvian fried rice since it looked prettygood as well! Read more

This is a must try Peruvian restaurant in NYC. The piqueo entre kausitas is a must! You can try all different... appetizers...completely different but delicious flavors. Ceviche you have to order! We got the tasting with 4 differentceviches. My favorite was the one with avocado. Dessert was on the house! The lucuma ice cream and tres leches are a winner.Highly recommended! Read more
