We drove 45 min to try this Birria place we heard about and we were not disappointed! We ordered different choices from the menu... and all had the original birria taste but surprisingly made combining cool ingredients like Takis you don?t see in otherplaces. I ordered via Uber Eats I was so excited to try Birria tacos and got the quesadilla Birria , and it was way too salty both the... quesadilla and Birria . I could not eat them separately neither could I eat them together. The empanadas pastry was really good , I got the beef , but the beef was also salty. It was a complete waste of money. The Birria tacos are a new unique taco to the area that is packed with deliciousflavor! Their menu is filled with so many birria and traditional options. Love the Birria Tacos here. They also serve with some very good spicy sauce. I've made it my go to place for for the Birria... Tacos. They have a couple tables outside and they staff is always friendly and accommodating. Highly suggest dropping by andhaving some tacos. Read more
Favorite restaurant. Me and my boyfriend drive 30 mins just to get barria tacos from this place and every time we come it?s just... as good as the first time we came. Also great customer service love the atmosphere. People complain about the prices but it?sworth it. Prepare to spend your money for the quality of the food. Five stars for me. Read more
I was visiting a friend that just moved to North Bergen, and she said, "Pick a place for dinner, my treat!" I came across Locos... Tacos and I love trying birria any chance I can. It's popularity seemed to explode over the past few years past its beginningsin Jalisco. As I currently do not dine inside, I was pleased to find a nice outdoor eating area along the 77th Street side ofthe restaurant. It's colorful AND comfortable! I ordered the birria quesadilla - I needed some comfort food! - + a horchatawhile my friend ordered fish tacos + tamarind juice. The quesadilla hit all of the points you want a quesadilla to hit: crisptortilla with a satisfying cheesy center. The birria is incredibly flavorful, as is the consomme. (Did I take a few spoonfuls tosip on? Short answer: YES. Ha!) The horchata was refreshing, not gritty like some horchatas I've had in the past. My friendenjoyed her meal; I didn't try the tacos, but did steal a few spoonfuls of her rice and beans. Though full, my friend and Idid split a large churro for dessert, filled with dulce de leche. I devoured my end too fast while my friend savored hers. Haha!But, again, it's what one would want in a churro: crisp, nice texture, a moist dough, a sweet spiced topping, and I did pick upa hint of saltiness from the dough in the best way to keep the flavors balanced! The food, service, and ambiance were allgreat. Our server Ana was a delight to chat with as she made sure we were all set with our meals throughout. Though I wasfeeling a margarita and was a little bummed to find no alochol on the menu - oh well, not a big deal at all! - I have fallen inlove with this spot.
