Charged tax on food. Why am I not charged tax at the grocery store on food? It must be cause I'm at a "convenience" store.... That's all good and fine. What got to me is that the employee, bless her heart, her explanation was that "there's just tax oneverything". Um. MN no tax on clothes or food - at least at grocery stores and clothes stores. Apparently the rules aredifferent where you go. Educate your employees. The answer I would have liked is that "m'aam it's a convenience tax". OK noproblem. Forgiven. You know not. Read more

Wouldn't give quarters in change ($2 worth) when buying something. Very lame. And rude staff besides.

The manager who wasn't wearing a name tag so not 100% sure if her name is Tina like she claimed after asking for her name. But... she has dark brown hair up in a ponytail working at 1:50pm on 10/10/22 wearing a black zip up that said Circle K. We went to gocash our scratch off tickets worth only $105 and she started yelling at the employee helping us because she was in the middle ofdoing cashier tills and the employee needed money because she already scanned our tickets which redeemed them and we didn't wantanymore we wanted the money. She was telling her employee nope can't do that I told you this and was yelling at her. So Ifinally spoke up and said look stop yelling at your employee and we are not leaving until we get our cash because they havealready been redeemed. She then started being hostile towards me and got rude. She then was telling her employee to hurry givethem their money so we can get them out. Once we walked away I stopped to ask for her name and she was like look I'm notdiscussing anything with you but my name is Tina go ahead and call corporate. The employee who was helping us was veryapologetic and nice. Just the person claiming to be a manager was rude to the employees for no reason on their behalf. Read more
