Food was spectacular, service was awful. Our server Brooke was very rude. She had maybe one or 2 other tables. She didn't... refill our drinks and acted like we were a major inconvenience. The local youth football team ended our season with a gathering at Pizza Pub with the restaurant being very accommodating for... the last minute large group which ended our season with a great night ???? The menu includes pub style favorites BEST chickenwings, pizza, hot sandwiches. Friendly staff fantastic servers keeping your drinks full while the kids enjoyed a game of poolor arcade games. Honestly I do not know how this Pizza Pub stays in business. It has been several months since I have revisited this location and... it continues to get worse. I ordered a pizza the only good thing is it was done on time. Four people walked by me before I wasacknowledged, then to leave several of their people were blocking the door and did not acknowledge that somebody wanted to leavethe restaurant, Until I had to ask somebody to move aside so I could get through with my Pizza. The pizza is amazing! The pub special is my absolute favorite! It is the best tasting pizza I have ever had. Surprisingly though... it is followed close second to the asparagus pizza. Sounds crazy but oh my my... ???????? if you like asparagus you HAVE to tryit. It is so full of flavor! My boyfriend loves the pulled pork sandwich. He orders it 80% of the times we visit. He says PizzaPub pulled pork sandwich is way better then Dickey's. I have to agree. Dickey's meat pile is smaller and the buns are so dry????. Sahara desert dry. I can't stand it. At pizza pub, the pulled pork is flavorful, nice and juicy and piled high with a goodamount of BBQ sauce. The bun is the perfect balance of moist and sturdy enough hold all the meat you get! And their chickenalfredo... if I could drool on a review I would ?. It has a slight kick to it combined with the creamy smooth cheesiness thatkeeps you coming back for more bite after bite. It is definitely not your normal bland Alfredo. And their bone-in wings are areally filling size and the sauce flavors are amazing. I had the sweet hot.. I didn't know that those 2 flavors would go wellbut I said what the heck.. let's try it and I was glad I did. The only thing I REALLY DID NOT LIKE was their fried pickles. Theywere small strips of pickles that were battered and deep fried. SUPER SUPER greasy. The battered strips stuck together. It cameout in clumps and all you could taste was grease. Not much pickle flavor. Instead of skinny pickle strips that disintigrate anddissappear in the batter and frying oil... They should switch to whole fried pickle spears like the Full Moon bar has in Stark.Theirs are amazing! But overall the food is really good at the pub. I keep coming back! But please upgrade the fried pickles???? I will be willing to pay more! Moved back here a little over a year ago and the first couple experiences here were okay? if you are from here you know there... aren?t many options in this town. It seemed like every other time was hit or miss at first. To now we don?t have any desire todine in and if we are desperate we will order delivery knowing we need to be willing to wait 60-90 mins for delivery. I ordereda sandwich that is supposed to come with ranch or blue cheese? online there was no where to select the option so I?ve written myselection in the notes. This is not the first time it has happened so I decided to call to see if they could do something aboutit. I talked to Luke (who claimed to be a manager) but was extremely rude offered no apologies, I explained this wasn?t thefirst time it has happened and can I get a credit or something. To which he offered ?free ranch? next time? but the sandwichcomes with dressing. After calmly explaining how the ordering system doesn?t let you select an option he even noted the errorand said it?s a new system. I said I?ve had this happen before so it?s not that new can you give me a credit for next time orcan someone bring me a dressing that is supposed to come with the sandwich. After back and fourth, I was told his onlycapabilities as a manager are to give ?free dressing? for next time (which I don?t believe to be true for a manager?!). Absolutely amazing experience at the Pizza Pub! My wife and I were going up north for a weekend with some friends and we... stopped at the Pizza Pub for lunch. The place is surprisingly large with lots of tables and booths for both small and largeparties. A large bar area with lots on tap as well. The pizza was some of the best that I have eaten, and I have eaten a lot ofpizza in my day. My wife and I got a sausage medium (12") and it was amazing and perfect size for the two of us. Definitely sizedown as the pizza is in squares so you get filled up faster. The cheese tasted fresh and neither slid off the pizza nor was aglob of hardened cheese. The sausage was a tad spicy but we prefer that so it was on point. Our friends got the taco pizza,which was piled high with taco toppings, so just know if you order that, better be ready to eat a salad with it! They are squareslices, which I prefer but I know others do not. The service was fantastic. Our waitress was prompt and patient with our largegroup. Oh, and if you order a tall beer, just know it will be a TALL beer which is awesome! The prices were also not bad at all.In this era of rising prices, the Pizza Pub's prices are on the lower to medium side, but very reasonable for the portion size.Highly recommend this spot if you are going up north for a getaway or just want to try something new. We've had this pizza in North Branch for over 20 years and it's literally always THE BEST. After moving away, besides missing... our church/dear friends, we miss this pizza. No joke. The atmosphere is fun too, especially after the remodel. Read more
