If you want delicious food, this is the place! Sandwiches are fantastic! Everything is fresh and made to order. The A & G... special on Brick Oven bread with roasted peppers and sun-dried tomatoes along with balsamic spread is highly recommended. Themeatless paninis are also very good. My favorite Italian deli in the state of New Jersey. I been going here 20 years, to the old location on 27. The Route one... location is smaller but still great. I always get the number #11 Spicey Italian and it?s maybe the best sub I ever ate. I livein Oregon now and I can?t get a decent sandwich to save my life. When I fly into Newark I have this place on my mind the wholetime and it?s the first place I stop on my way to my moms. Go there. And eat. It?s all good. My only beef is that I don?t thinkthey have scungilli or octopus anymore, maybe at the other locations I dunno. Read more
