I must say that this is probably one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. The staff was patient and attentive, very... knowledgeable about the menu, offered some great suggestions. You could eat here every day for a month and just get through themenu. I went here with a friend of mine who had the chicken curry and I had the goat curry and the food was exquisite. I like this spot! They prepare high quality food, their menu is varied, The chief cook in that spot is a specialist, I love a... lot trying all their food. Being from new jersey, I have high standards and expectations for Indian food. It is a tad pricey here, but I'm guessing that is... because of the location. The food, however was wonderful, as was the service. The portion sizes are very good and we were ableto share many entres. Strangely enough, the food was a lot better here. When I go out for Indian food, I have very high standards considering that I... could just make it at home. We took some out-of-towners here last night and everyone enjoyed all of the dishes. The portions area good size, the flavor was well balanced, the menu provided a good variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, and thetotal bill wasn?t that expensive. Biryani has no taste at all. I tried mutton biryani which was not at all worth it. Chicken 555 appetizer was average. Kothu... Paratha was ok. But biryanis were not upto the mark. Would recommend not to try any Biryani as it is not appropriate to thesouth Indian taste. Overall, service was good and they even replaced the mutton biryani with chicken biryani which was littlebetter. Salon will be charged and is not free($3). We went here for Mother's day lunch since another Indian spot near here was packed, and it was a great decision! The staff... helped us understand the menu and choose their specialties. Their prices are extremely affordable compared to most Indianrestaurants and it doesn't come at the expense of the food. The food was outstanding and plentiful! I was recommended the goat biryani. It was absolutely delicious. I enjoyed how the goat, spices and herbs flavor blended with... the rice. The white sauce added a very nice creamyness to it. Also got the mango drink which was also very delicious. Read more
