Love the Jerk Chicken bowl. Spicy which is a rarity to most Carribean places around Charleston(So if you don't like Spicy stay... way from this). Plantains cooked to perfection. This is my second time I have ordered from here. I also ordered the crab andshrimp rice but haven't tasted it yet, I'm still full off the jerk chicken bowl. Great portions for the price! Unfortunately I had to give 2 ???? for flavor and tenderness of the oxtails.

Food was very average. Chicken tasted burnt and the sweet potato fries were pretty bland. Tacos were fairly good though so I?d... get those again if I hadn?t been treated so poorly. The guy in the truck was a jerk. I asked him what?s good and he said?whatever you like?. Okay, fair enough. But then I asked him what something was on the menu and he literally told me ?justread?. It didn?t explain what it was on the menu so that really didn?t help. He made me feel really stupid for asking questionsabout a type of food I?d never had before. Before I ordered with door dash I called the restaurant and I specifically asked can you please take off the carrots, plantains,... and beans. He said yes he could. I then specifically asked can I have only oxtails, rice, and gravy. He said yes. He told me toput it in the special instructions section. We ordered online immediately. I received crunchy rice, salty oxtails, NO gravy,unwanted carrots and unwanted plantains. When I called to complain he said the cooks didn't know what I meant. I politelyreminded him he was the middle man (he said he was gone to the store ????) and if couldn't prepare it the way I wanted he shouldhave told me before I placed my $50 order (with DD tip). I would have appreciated that, and respectfully ordered from somewhereelse. Also, if he needed me to talk to the cook he should have handed him the phone. I did a take out order from these guys an was excited about my order. I ordered a side order of oxtails and rice..Now I was not... expecting a large order but what o got was not even close to a side. I received what looked like a piece..not EVEN a piece ofoxtail but this small piece of oxtail in top of a good portion of rice and beans..I am very disappointed..it was not even a bigenough piece to say you enjoyed the oxtail or even what it tasted like...VERY disappointed with this order Read more

Food was bland and rice was undercooked. I ordered from Ubereats and the picture shows a lot of shrimp not the 3 salty pieces I... got. We also got the jerk chicken with Oxtail gravy rice. Where is the gravy? I was so disappointed. Read more
