I don?t know who just answered the phone, but they need a lesson in customer SERVICE. I really don?t think it is too much for a... PAYING customer to ask that the CHEESE go on top of the eggs on a Sausage/Egg/Cheese croissanwich. If I am asking specificallyfor it to be layered this way, perhaps there was a time when it was NOT done properly and because I am PAYING for this meal Iwould actually like to enjoy it. On multiple occasions, I have received my meal with the cheese BETWEEN the sausage and theegg?. thus resulting in an almost completely dissolved cheese slice that I could NOT taste. I would like to think that ifsomeone orders a sausage/egg/cheese croissant, it would naturally just come arranged in that order but apparently that?s not thecase? and it seemingly aggravates the person answering the phone (not the cook) when the request is made. Cancel the order.I?ll take my business elsewhere. Read more

Good atmosphere. Food was good, not great. A bit pricey, especially for a deli. I feel like they nickel and dime you for... everything. Can't just add a soup or salad to your meal without paying full price for both items, want to charge almost 30 centsfor ranch. I'll probably find a different place to go next time. Read more

I love the Charleston Philly Sandwitch the bread nice and soft and the sauce brought the flavor real nice. I've never had a... Philly Steak before. Well done to the workers at East Bay Deli. Read more

Decent place to eat. Was very packed when I got here and remained that way. I had the Special All beef Chilli dog with chips and... it was pretty good. Restraunt has a full salad bar with a lot of stuff on it. I recommend coming here but expect a crampedatmosphere during lunch and dinner hell pretty much all day. Read more

Whenever I am in the Lowcountry I order takeout from the North Charleston/Dorchester Rd. East Bay Deli, as it is close to my... Dad's house. And while the food has been consistently good, I can honestly say the staff are even better! On one of my firstvisits, April (who's father is retired Air Force) asked if I was a veteran (I am also a retired U.S. Air Force veteran), andsince that time I have sincerely appreciated the 10% discount East Bay Deli offers to veterans and active duty military. On mymost recent visit to East Bay Deli (9/6/22), I mentioned to April that I was volunteering to clean headstones at the Ft. JacksonNational Cemetery as part of the VA National Cemeteries' National Day of Service on September 9th, to mark the 21st anniversaryof 9/11 attacks. I needed a 5-gallon bucket for this day of service, and I asked her if I could have one of their picklebuckets I had seen in their recycling bin out back? She checked with her manager (Tara?) and returned with a clean bucket forme to use, again showing that East Bay Deli supports veterans! I encourage everyone, no matter their status to, in-turn,support East Bay Deli! Attached are a couple of photos taken at the Ft. Jackson National Cemetery, which is the final restingplace of 9,000 veterans from all the military services, some of whom made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation. Read more

Never ate at The Deli before.. Not only does the salad bar have a variety of things to eat but I tried the Calhoun and it was... the best sandwich I had ever had! Decided to try a 1/4 pounder today with American Cheddar, bacon, and Lettuce.. East Bay isdefinitely to die for. Highly recommended and will add this to my place of local eatery's! Read more

It was so good!!!! I ate all my sandwich on the drive home!!!! I got The Citadel on croissant rolls instead of toasted wheat... bread. People were honking their horns at me, but I didn?t care! And the cake? To die for! The lady who assist me and took myorder was so kind and helpful. I left my wallet home, and she helped me with Apple Pay. Highly recommend! Read more

Stopped during lunch rush. Service was pretty quick despite the semi-long line, and the cashier was friendly and helpful. I got... the Tessa Turkey and was NOT disappointed, it was DELICIOUS! The fries were pretty good, although nothing really special despitethe light seasoning they had on them. I'll definitely be back to try other sandwiches! Read more
