I think it?s crazy that this place has such high reviews. The rice is completely unseasoned, the surimi for the California rolls... is just shredded with nothing else, and the fish is super weird. Weird texture weird flavor. Why is the ?tuna? brightpink? Can?t say I?ve ever been to a fast casual sushi place before now, but it?s really weird that there aren?t plates either.Two people eating off of a stone in the middle of a sticky table that hasn?t been wiped down in any fashion, using napkins asplates with plastic cups of crazy salty dark soy sauce lol. I imagine the Chinese food is better, since the workers areChinese. But if you?ve ever had Japanese food?.you?ll be sorely disappointed and probably very confused. And yes, we both gotsick. Mizu is the absolute best. In a pinch and need it quick? Call Mizu! Hungry for some fresh cooked food? Mizu! They consistently... deliver quality, hot, and fresh food every time we order. Most restaurants slip once or twice when you order frequently but notthese folks. Sushi is always amazing and hot dishes are always piping hot straight from the wok. The prices are unbeatable. The quality is unmatched. This is absolutely the BEST sushi and asian food place in town, bar none.

Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a meal here. Their portions are huge and the sushi is delicious, all at a very... reasonable price for the quality of the food! They custom made my sushi, I wanted a mix between the Bullet roll and I think it was the tiger roll. It came out perfectly. We... all ate every single bite of our food. Kiddo got crab roll minus cucumber, hubby got tiger roll, and my mom got a differentroll. We also got the bulgogi, edamame, and some rice and a few other dishes. Can't suggest them enough. We haven't found a decent, well-priced Japanese place since Sake House on Dorchester closed down. We decided to give Mizu a try,... and words cannot describe how happy we are that we did. The portions are incredible. The taste is better than any other Japanesewe've had. I haven't had an avocado roll in years - they were *amazing.* (The one-year-old had a mini tantrum because we atethem all.)
