Alrighty, I was there last week Thursday (6 October) I’m assuming it was around 19:30. Then I met Trent .. wow .. you are very... rude, I suppose when you want to be. I was to stand at the side by that “wait to be seated” (or ordered what to do),basically in a corner, and order my food to go. In disbelief, and thinking you were joking, I didn’t take you serious. Well, you were! Yeah, no…! You and I went back and forth about that, then I had enough, said I’ll go sit at the bar to order myfood. Which added up to a little bit under $50. Most “importantly” Matthew was at the bar, a wonderful.. and great person, patient, I was able to look through the menu while sitting down. Trent, you saw I’m handicapped while talking to me up front, and I also pointed this fact out to you as well. Said I needed to sit down! You behaved the same later on towards me, or so Ifelt “anyway”.. I also witnessed something, which I believe I guess, you may have, kinda by accident probably, I’m sortasure, have done to another employee. Not okay in my book! My response to that.. “is he stupid or something?” Not questioningyour intellect, but the behavior! The person who you did this to, actually defended you. As far as the food goes.. other thanthe corn bread, nothing was good, or eatable. They didn’t have any Brisket, which I only started liking a few month ago.I’ve been ordering through an App, things came to me with items missing. Last week I was on the AFB, figured I’ll just go bythere myself. Yup, it was fun. Many years ago.. I believe it may have been in 2005.. there was this very charismatic young manworking there, tending to the customers at the tables. He came over to us every time saying.. “Hey.. Hey.. Hey..” with areal smile on his face, not acting nice, being truly who he was. He took the order coming down to the table, not standing infront of us. We talked about different things with each other. Then one day we came again, and he wasn’t there.. he had tomove on to a bett Read more

Terrific recent experience here! Last time we were here was over five years ago. The food seems even better than I remember. Our... fabulous server was Morgan; definitely asking for her again next time. She made a good dining experience even better by beingattentive, friendly, & fast! The meats are good; BBQ baked beans and the fire roasted corn are both terrific sides! TheirBrunswick stew is also delicious -- just very lightly sweet, which enhances the flavor even more. I just wish they'd serve it alittle warmer instead of lukewarm. Nevertheless, we'll be back very soon. Read more

En route to the airport, karen and I needed to stop by the nearby Target store to buy extra locks for our luggage. We were also... pretty hungry as we pulled in to the parking lot and noticed Smokey Bones. There was some extra time to kill and always lovesome good BBQ, as the smell was luring us in. We ordered the Korean pork belly pops and the double trouble baby back/St. Louisrib combo plate. The pork pops were out of this world good, and the ribs(both), were well smoked and juicy with full flavor. Thehomemade doughnuts were to die for. The waitress was very nice and helpful. She gave us extra lemon water to go and thebathrooms were clean. I wish there were places like this in the California Bay Area. We have some decent Que, but not like theCarolina’s. It would be twice the price for the portions. Nice treat before our flight back to Cali! Read more

Very short on help, service was slow but food came out very quickly. Excellent taste but very small portions for the money. Theu... place a piece of bread under the pulled pork to make it look like there's more than there really is. Read more
