This Texas Roadhouse is always slow. Took our waiter 20 minutes from being seated to get our drink order. We put our entire... order in at once and didn’t get our food for 1 hour. A Truly Disappointing Experience! This was last Sunday (Jun 26). The place can't get the steak temperature right; "medium well"... to them is "well done." Manager did not seem to care. It took us an hour to get our steak and then she wanted us to get areplacement steaks. We did not have another extra hour to waste so we declined the offer. Our server was not very attentive.When asked for A1 Sauce, she tells us the Texas Roadhouse Steak Sauce is A1 Sauce...So, why does it not taste like the A1 sauce?She assumed this is our first rodeo. Absolutely the worst. Staff thinks it's a socializing spot instead of a place of business. Waited forever for our food, to only... have the steaks cooked so so wrong. Finally, the manager if you can even call him that... Came over, and after already waitingan astronomical amount of time, saw the food immediately and knew it was terrible. Said, "Do you want me to make new steaks?" Iindicated I hated waiting even longer but that was fine... When, they came out again they were still not cooked properly. So,back to the kitchen the food goes. Then, it comes out overdone all over again. Didn't bring out things that we ordered or basicnecessities. We were hardly given fries, and when we questioned it she said it's by weight. Truly asinine, because we have eatenat Texas Roadhouse for years and years and YEARS. No kids menu's were offered, and when I asked the manager in the verybeginning by walking back to the door. He went to the basket where they were supposed to be, saw it was empty and just told themto hand him one from behind the counter. I noticed there were no crayons, and I asked he said nope we don't have any. There wasvery little soap in the bathroom; and my daughter and I were at the sink with the soap, and an employee used the sink with NOsoap. 70 dollars wasted, and I know without a doubt they don't care. We visited this restaurant on 06/12/2022 and I'm here to tell you, it's so hot inside here. If you want to roast like a turkey... in the over then go ahead and have fun, You too can have sweat running down your forehead while you eat. I believe the 30 minutewait time along with 80 degrees inside there is enough to make me not come back. The food isn't even worth the price tbh. Also,why do you have a 20 something oz tone but don't offer a smaller portion? ???? Fix that and I may be back in winter. But I'm notgoing to go spend that much on a 23 oz t bone steak like for 1 I can't eat that much and 2 it's the best steak there is. Theothers just can't compare. While Traveling through SC and NC on business, I ate at 4 Texas Roadhouses in 4 days. This was not the worst one. The rolls were... good, the beer was cold, service was great. She was by her self and it was busy as all get out. Without her, this would be 2.5stars honestly. The ribs were not bad, but not as good as Jacksonville, NC. that was the gold standard on my trip. The worstpart was the salad. I've seen lettuce that was starting to go brown around the edges, but this was decomposing and slimy. Notsure how you let this slip by. it was 15% of the salad and kind off-putting for the rest of the meal cause you can't help butthink "OK, if they let that leave the kitchen, what else is going on back there?" management did stop by and check on me, Ishowed him the lettuce, they asked me if I wanted anything else, and I didn't, but guess what? The lettuce still sat there infront of me until I left. The guy sitting next to me ordered a med rare porterhouse and I think it was like $32.00. It came outmed well at least. One thing I have noticed about this chain is that they are very quick to offer to replace the item, which isgood, except if you don't fix the core issue that is causing these things to happen, you just loose money and repeat customers. I'll be honest, I only came for the bread. But, tonight everything was good. We had the ribs, a 20 oz bone in ribeye, the... chicken critters, the filet combo with fries. Whoever cooked the ribs last night did an awesome job, I'm not a big fan oftheir ribs, but last night it was awesome. Totally different than before. My food came crazy late after everyone at my table.And I only had the chicken critters and ribs. But the customer service was excellent. They apologized and proactively resolvedany issues. I'm good with that! The sweet tea should definitely not be called sweet. Please, we are in the Carolinas .Charleston at that. Use SUGAR!!! Thanks. I'll be back soon for some more rolls!!! Read more
