Nice big rooms and plenty of beds for a lot of people (we only had 2 of us so spread out everywhere). Could fit 6 people... comfortably and more space on the couch or if you brought a blow up mattress. We had neighbors but barely heard them through thewalls. We have been going to Inn on Gore for about 10 years and have never been disappointed. Even during Covid, the takeout has been... amazing. We really enjoy the vegetarian options, especially the weekly vegetarian feast special. For meat eaters, you can't gowrong with Grandma's Gravy. Read more

They had good food, owner was excruciatingly rude. I have sat at the bar to eat there before no issues but he refused to take... our order after i saw him take two other peoples orders, then he scoffed at our appearance (I have long hair and my gf had atiedye on) as if we were to old for such nonsense (0nly 26) Then made us wait over 20 minutes to get a waitress or drinks forus. It was obvious he was hoping we would leave but at that point if staying made his night worse then ours I was staying. Oncewe finally got the food he angrily asked me how it was and I politely said it was very good. he then stormed off, Came back anddid it again raising his voice. You could tell he was annoyed that I wasn?t faded by his outburst, Mind you we were polite thewhole time. Then I waited for 20 more minutes for change which he then slammed on the bar top. We're in the 1-2 star rating camp as on here and Tripadvisor. The owner was nice, but the amount of dirt and salt in our room... would take 3+ months to accumulate at home, the rooms need repair pretty badly (peeling paint, flooring, worn carpets, worn outbedding, heavily damaged furniture, water damage in bathroom), and a generally unkempt. Other rooms in our group were better puttogether, but still were roughing it. We had to dig ourselves out of the driveway in the morning after some freezing rain. Itwas a skating rink and took about 90 minutes. The restaurant was about half full when we went though (but didn't eat there).Capacity seems limited. NOTE - there's no cell service in the area. We just stayed here last night after our reservation fell though at another hotel. What a awesome surprise we had finding this... place. The food at the restaurant was amazing and made even better by the home made deserts. Possibly the best cheese cake Ihave ever had. Phebe and Rich were super friendly and really made our experience even better. Very cool place, we'll be back forsure. Even if your not spending the night, the food is well worth the stop. Read more

Classic ski lodge feeling! The tube TVs provide a sense of nostalgia in the warm, rustic cabins. The location could not get... any better and the food - OMG! Going back to gore this weekend and unfortunately The Inn was booked, but we will be enjoyingthe restaurant both nights. Read more

Most delicious food, best selection?, freshest ingredients. Comfortable, casual surroundings?. Very reasonable prices. Can... not be beat. Post script: have been to this restaurant at least twice since last review. I keep thinking this place can't getany better but it does. Went with party of three a few evenings ago and even though only one is vegetarian we each had adifferent vegetarian meal. All delicious. You have to try the Wedding Pasta; truly a uniquely brilliant dish. It is beyondwords. This restaurant is a treasure. Read more
