Rude and lazy staff and bad tasting coffee. I entered the shop about 25 minutes before closing on Sunday. The female staff were... vacuuming and mopping, making it harder for me to get to the register and hear the cashier. I tried to order some food but wastold "we arent making food because we close in 20 minutes". Because i had no other place to get food (truck driver here) iordered some stale cookies and ice coffee. The coffee was bitter, no condensed milk added whatsoever. Clearly they were morefocused on closing the shop exactly at 1 pm and werent bothered to provide their paying customers with any modicum of service.Steer clear of this place, they deserve to go out of business. Cute little coffee shop right of I195. The staff was super nice. Food options seem a bit limited but wide enough variety you can... get breakfast. Standard option of coffees and flavors. There was a small cooler with some bottled beverages. Pricing isstandard. The food was really good for what we ordered. Wait times were a little long but I was in no rush. Indoor and outdoorseating. I usually don?t leave reviews for places, but to be honest with this company & for the customers, I want to share an experience... I had about 10 minutes ago today. I went in today to get a coffee, nobody tended to me even though they saw me. They justignored me & didn?t even say they would be right with me. I find this rude because when I?m at work and I?m busy I let thecustomer know I?ll be right there to help them. Not just stare at them and give them dirty looks. When the girl with glasses & amask came up, she was very rude to me. I?ve seen her multiple times & have been here multiple times but there was only one timeshe was actually nice to me. Idk if she?s working to much but today I heard her be very disrespectful to an older gentleman. Hesimply asked her if they would be open on Sunday & if they were going to sell food. Apparently he couldn?t hear her through hermask, so he asked her to repeat herself. She yelled at him in a way that startled me when I was waiting for my food. ?I saidwe?re only selling drinks and no food? along the lines of that. The tone was not acceptable, especially to an older man. I askedhim if he was okay when he came outside after me. He said ?oh I couldn?t hear her so she was trying to get the message through.?And In my opinion, I would never yell at a customer like that. That was so disgusting & rude. She needs to do better, or takesome time off since she?s probably working so much. That?s unacceptable. I understand work is annoying sometimes, but being akind person is free. Do better. Read more
Java Shack's food and customer service is fantastic! Our office orders from them at least twice a week. We recently ordered... several items; salads, an acai bowl, and turkey/avo melts. Very nice quaint place for coffee and food. Really nice to have a local business coffee shop on the other side of 195 in... Dartmouth. Have excellent healthy options. Avacado toast is finally local! Go to the Nook in fairhaven for real coffee. Got a large black iced coffee. The most acidic, bitter, and expensive coffee I... have ever had. Terrible. A good coffee shop should have...idk... Good coffee ????. Staff is unfriendly and drab. Read more
