Visited during their Summer Fest and was pleasantly surprised. Tried several East coast and west coast IPA's and they were all... great. The staff were friendly and helpful. They did not have their normal menu, but the special BBQ items were great. Read more

There is a kind, informed staff and a pleasant atmosphere for enjoying a few beers. Their beer is OUTSTANDING. Their Flyaway IPA... is one of the greatest I've ever tasted; it's perfectly cloudy, intensely hops, and still juicy. Read more
Excellent small craft brewery that offers much more than the typical hoppy IPA?s (which of course they do have). Czech style... Pilsner, German Lagers, Irish Red Ale, a delicious peanut butter coffee stout too. And some pretty darn good food too. Such asthe Reuben, Smoked Brisket sandwich, and the Bianca Chicken Flatbread. Like I'm sure a lot of you do, I typed in "brewery" in google maps before a decent ride back home. Shovel Town came up on our... path home, has great reviews, so we gave it a shot! We didn't realize that we were arriving with the World Cup (USA) soccergame on in the final minutes. The place was packed, and everyone was really into the game (nice TVs to watch on). We figuredthat it would be a while before we got any food or drinks. There were no tables open but a group offered to have us sit withthem at their picnic table. There were six of us (2 kids), so that was super nice of them. We ordered beers and food, and thebeers were out in a couple of minutes and then the food in about ten. All of the food and beer was excellent! I have a thingfor peanut butter stouts... and their "Crunch" is legit, one of the top PB stouts I've had.
