I went here for a date night with my wife after reading thr reviews and holy cow was this place a 11/10. While the wait was... long (we were able to wait at the cozy bar) it was well worth it. We had a drink before being called for our table (they don'ttake reservations for parties under 6 people). Once we were sat, we had a beautiful view and our waitress Rina was amazing andmade us feel at ease. Our dinner was amazing and the dessert was honestly amazing. We will definitely be back! Read more
We’ve been coming to the Old Mill for over thirty years. It never fails to delight: good food, gracious service, warm setting.... It is crowded ALL the time: once this place becomes a favorite of yours, you just have to keep coming back. Have now been here twice first time was a date night challenge to find a new place in a town we have never been to before. This... place is by far one of the best restaurants I have been to in a long time. Great service, amazing food, beautiful setting. TheFrench onion soup was by far the best I’ve ever had, prime rib was delicious and so tender, vegetable curry had so muchflavor, oysters are delicious, salmon was cooked perfectly on a lovely bed of shaved cucumbers. Absolutely fantastic food! The service was very attentive, without being overbearing. The food quality and taste are akin to... what you’d find at a top NYC restaurant. The porcini mushroom arancini was a standout; one of the best things I’ve evereaten. The seared ahi tuna and the steak were also delightful and cooked perfectly. I LOVED the cheese spread, olives, and breadthey provide before the meal. What a lovely touch!! I highly recommend this restaurant and can’t wait to go back! Read more
