A hidden gem. Open 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (indoor/outdoor dining (weather permitting) Found it by chance and keep going... back. Refreshing spot! A feeling of comfort without pretense. Varied menu and food excellent. The staff superb! A place to relaxand simply enjoy yourselves. All kinds of skilled constructed Airplanes circle overhead on a conveyor, quietly. Read more

We went to the Café because we needed to pick up unleaded ethanol free gas from the airfield and noticed this café had good... ratings. We went on a Friday in November at around 1:30pm. They close at 2PM BTW. The staff was extremely nice as others havementioned in their reviews. Very clean. It was busier than I though it would be for a weekday, but there were plenty of seats. We sat outside. We hoped to see 1 maybe 2 planes landing or taking off, but maybe since it was a nice day, there were at least6 - 10 planes taking off or landing while we were there. This is a small airfield, so all the planes were since prop smallplanes. The food was excellent. Everything tasted fresh. The French Toast that I had was extremely large. I brought half of ithome, the pictures probably don't show how thick it was. We will be going back again! By the way, the gas for lawn tractorsetc is located to the right of the airfield building on a paved area off the edge of the tarmac. The airfield building itselfis to the right of the Café. You can buy gas there 24/7. You pay at a kiosk just to the side of the pumps. Make sure youselect mogas for motor vehicle gas. You have to carry your gas cans from the parking area about 40 feet away. Not a big deal. I paid $6.10 for it; which, for ethanol free gas at 91 octane is a good price. I drove 45 minutes to get this gas, and it'sworth it to not destroy my small engines. Read more

As a commercial pilot, I love everything aviation and The Airfield Cafe did not disappoint. We arrived at the busiest time on... Sunday and were seated promptly. Our server was Georgie and she was awesome, attentive and friendly!!! I had the Reuben Omeletwhich was delicious. We even got to see a Cessna 172 takeoff and a Piper Cub land.. Perfect way to start the day!! Read more

Go early on the weekends! I did and it was very busy! Be ready for sticker shock. But, with inflation, the price of everything... is going up. Speaking of up.. Airplanes ??! The inside has a track with flying vessels that cruise over your head ?????. If youare tall, watch your head! Memories came flooding in from my childhood to my trip to Europe ???? a few years ago. Seeing themodels of the Boeing 747, Concorde, the biplane that I took a flying lesson in and the Air-Force refiling plane that a familymember use to work on left me in a world ???? of memories. Inside is in great shape. Bathroom was immaculate and had an airfreshener that left a pleasant aroma. Huge and friendly staff! Great ???? service! A woman who was directing the staff had agirl refresh coffee ? with a pot of regular and decaf in each hand ????. I ordered two ???? eggs scrambled with anadama bread???? and potato ???? pancakes. The potato pancakes looked like flat tater tots. That was the only part of the meal I wasn'timpressed with. Hot sauce available. The condiments were cold which I found to be a nice ???? touch. Assortment of jellies andjams. Outdoor dining available with heaters set up. Didn't see any activity on the runway. Maybe next time. It is a littlenoisy, but, I recommend a visit. My friend, in a past conversation, said he liked it and insisted I visit for breakfast ????.I'm glad I did. Read more

The Airfield Cafe is the perfect place to grab breakfast (all day!) or lunch and watch the small planes come and go. There is... plenty of indoor and prime outdoor seating (shade, umbrellas or picnic tables, lots of options). The food is fresh and reallytasty. The staff is really friendly and prompt. Great place for families with young kids as they get to see all those planes(the ceiling track is amazing) Read more
