Food is good. Service is poor. I was given a dirty fork with someone's lipstick on it. And the waitress was rushing to finish... her shift so she made me pay before but I had to wait for my dessert for long until I found another waiter and asked him for thedessert and then he brought the dessert. Everything, from the service, ambiance and especially the delicious cuisine was perfect. It’s possible to splurge or stay on... budget. Great local beers or wines by the glass. Zero prétention, just massive attention to detail. Staff are professionallytrained, and it shows. I would drive two hours from Montreal for the fresh baked dinner rolls alone. Read more
Good seats are only reserved for groups of more than 4. We were only 2 so we had to sit at a tiny table next to the wall, with... AC water dripping to my head. And next day we were led to a table below the terrace and squeezed with another 2 families in avery tiny area. It was lunch time and the restaurant was quiet, but the waiter never gave us the choice to sit at a bigger andnicer table even if the restaurant was half empty. The food was over priced. The waitress wasn't able to give anyrecommendations on dishes or wines. I found two pieces of lobster shells from my lobster sandwich. They reimbursed me for thisunprofessional way of preparing food. We were lucky enough to sit out on the beautiful terrace overlooking the water. Had a delicious asparagus starter with the... burger as my main - perfectly cooked burger with a ton of flavor. The atmosphere on the terrace was great, so if you can sitoutside I highly recommend although the inside was also beautifully decorated. Food and setting was beautiful. The fish of the day (doré) I ate had a lovelcream sauce with steamed room vegetables. My... husband and father-in-law had the plate of the day, Bavet and fries. And mu mother-in-law had the aged beef burger. I loved thedessert a choux créme aux poured with Chantilly cream and chocolate crisps the went well with some peppermint tea. Read more
