One of my colleagues and I entered Carbone's Deli on 8/16/22 to grab lunch. Upon ordering and waiting for it to be completed, we... were asked to pay for our food in advance. This is after watching someone else pay after their food was prepared. Additionally,my $8 steak wrap was very, very light on the meat. So not only did I feel unwelcome, I felt gyped. Ordered tuna sandwich on toasted rye tuna was fresh just right amount of mayonnaise excellent sandwich

Microwaved eggplant & steam like warm meatballs. This place is terrible.

It's a well kept secret of the locals of our area, even though this place is in a big shopping plaza. Order a meatball sub or... sandwich, you will not be disappointed. Their house made tomato sauce and meatballs are awesome. They were at the North Havenfair and they were serving up meatball sandwhiches there. Open for takeout during covid. Read more

Best Eggplant Around!!! No breading. Not mushy Just Great tasting eggplant and sauce with cheese

Just a great deli with great prices, options for wraps, and no nickle & diming with the options. Love the daily specials. Not an... enormous selection, but your go-to sandwiches are always available. I opted for the soup (pasta fagioli) & sandwich, and theywere more than willing to make it a hot meatball sandwich. There are plenty of options in the area for food, but most of themare fast food, whereas Carbone's is good food. Very low key outside, as well on the inside, but it's the food you go to enjoy.
