I always order based off reviews & I ordered a meatball sub & calzone, the meatball sub was small & soggy & wasn't cut right &... had big chunks of tomatoes in it. The calzone was fine but I will not be ordering from them again. Spent $33 for both items Read more

Was excited to try this place when I saw it on my GPS when I was in the area. I figured I?d make a quick pit stop and try it... rather than driving down to Sally?s. The pizza itself was ok, but not what I expected after reading the reviews. Next time I?lltake the extra 10 minute drive (and sometimes 30+ minute wait) and go to Sally?s. 8.3; everybody knows the rules Read more

Dear Jesus? I live across the street and yesterday 6/22/2022 was my first order placed with Mangia? Holy S***! I met Steve and... spoke to John on the phone when I had to call back and let them know their Apizza is Incredible! Any locals who keep driving byand lament like Myself, do yourself a favor and stop in and give Mangia a Shot! Old Style New Haven Apizza made by pros with awealth of Apizza Making Knowledge! More than Friendly Atmosphere Included! Best Wishes to these Folks! I?m Hooked! Next 2Times I visited, the Apizza was Good, but the Subs were horrible! Burned Chicken Cutlet Sub and a Meatball with uncooked Sauceand placed in oven? No more Subs for this guy from these Guys! Cooking Area was like a Circus Act! ???????????????????????? Read more

Absolutely the greatest pizza place in all of Connecticut. The service is one of a kind and the pizza is to die for. I give this... infinity stars. The best thing about the service is the workers treat every one of the customers like family and you can neverbeat that. Read more

Wow! This was worth the ride. Wooster Street with no tourist lines. Had a simple tomato and Parmesan, no frills. Perfect crust,... good even char underneath, but the sauce was the star. Distinctive freshness and character. Slices stay flat while hot andslightly drooped as pie cooled. My last piece was as enjoyable as my first, and I ate whole pie. The Pizza Chefs in the kitchenare obviously Top Shelf guys. Just had the Clam and Bacon, as good as I expected. Very consistent Pizza here. Read more

These guys have a double PhD in pizza from Yale and no one can convince me otherwise. NYC, NJ, don't hold a candle to this... place! At all. Best sauce, crust to cheese ratio, cheese pull, flavor, crispy in the right places, floppy in the right places, not too greasy fresh MOZZ. Check my reviews, I've been all over the country. This place has got it. It's a small place, don'tmiss it. Visit and give them all of your money. Glad they survived the pandemic so that I could come and give it a try. Amazing. Read more
